Chapter 29: I'm so sorry Alfie

Zoe's POV

Last night was one of the craziest nights of my life! Alfie and I had gotten engaged, I barely slept because I spent the whole night looking at my ring and Alfie. I was so happy, I didn't think I was ready for this but I know now that I definitely am. Me and Alfie will be so happy together. I got to spend the rest of the night talking to our friends on Skype. They were congratulating me and Alfie on our engagement and all us that lived in England were going to go out tonight for tea to celebrate. The American's decided to have a drink to congratulate us instead. I was so excited for tonight, everyone would be in such an amazing mood and I couldn't think of anything to put me in a bad mood right now. Alfie rolled over sleepily, rubbing his eyes.

"Hey babe"

"Hiya Alf."

"How are you?"

"I am amazing!"

"I'm glad"

"I'm glad your glad!"

Smiling, I leaned in and gave Alfie a huge kiss.

"You want breakfast?"

"Don't be stupid, I'll make it."

"Sit down, I think you done enough fro me last night!"

"What? By agreeing to marry you?"

"Yeah" A big huge grin spread across Alfie's face.

"I don't think we're going to manage to stop smiling for the rest of our lives."

"I agree!"

We both laughed and got up out of bed, pulling on our trackies and t-shirts we made our way through to the kitchen to make breakfast. Marcus was still sleeping on the living room sofa and Louise was in the spare room. We told them just to stay the night and they can do whatever today. I think their plans were just to go shopping for some clothes in London. Just to wear for today then they would stay the night tonight and go back to their homes tomorrow.

Alfie's POV

After a day of just lounging around it was 4 o'clock. Everyone was up and Zoe was away in the shower. We were meeting everyone in Nando's to celebrate me and Zoe's engagement at 6 so Zoe wanted to be ready on time. Marcus, Louise and Zoe went into London earlier to do a little shopping for something to wear tonight but I just stayed at home because I didn't want to spend more money. I had already bought the ring which wasn't exactly cheap so I thought I could find something from my wardrobe. I also had to look at the footage from last night and put together a video of it. Zoe's POV

After having a shower I got out and started to dry my hair, Louise went into the shower after me. Once I had dried my hair Louise dried hers. I got my clothes that I had bought today and I looked through them all. I had bought more than one outfit and I wasn't sure what one to put on. I put on the black dress I had gotten, it was a skate style dress and had a diamanté belt around the waist., it fitted me really well, I then found some black wedges and my gold jewellery and I went through to see Alfie.

"Alfie?"

"Yeah babe?"

"Where are you?"

"Living room!"

I walked through to the living room.

"Is this okay to wear?"

He turned round to look at me. Looking me up and down, his eyes stuck on my hand. My ring. I smiled taking my hand up to my face and looking at my ring myself.
