"Happy fifteenth I birthday Kenzie!" Everyone yelled.

Kenzie looked around the room, suprised by what she saw. Streamers, her firends, family, gifts , and just wait til she saw the cake. She ran down the stairs hugged me and then went to go hug everyone else. She hugged Eithan last. He hugged her back tightly.

"Thanks guys, I don't know what to say!" She said,her eyes glued to the gift table.

Eithan had disappeared to go get the cake. Her boyfriend took the spot beside her.

I do not like him, I don't know what it is, but he just seems like he is going to ruin Kenzie's life. He smells like smoke everytime he comes over here and I hate it. Eithan has quit and he only does it now like once or twice every two days. I only have a craving for one when I am mad or stressed.

Eithan came back with the cake and everyone begin to sing happy birthday. Kenzie smiled and laughed. She watched as Eithan skillfully cut the cake and handed her the first slice. She tasted it, nodded, and took another bite.

"This is delicious!" She said putting another piece in her mouth.

Her boyfriend got the second piece, then everyone else got a piece. I was third of course. After everyone has a slice or two of cake, Kenzie had like 5, we begin to open the gifts.

She opened her boyfriends first.

"Okay, I'm kind of scard to open this!" She said.

"Open sweets you'll love it!" He said.

She studied him carefully, looking for any trace of a smile, smirk, or laugh coming up, or anything that suggested he was lying. She opened the gift and pulled out a mediium sized box. Then opened that box to pull out a smaller box. Inside of that box was another box and then inside of that box was a even smaller box.

"What'd you get me a bunch of boxes?" She asked.

"Keep going only two more boxes to go!" He said.

She finally opened the last box and pulled a beautiful diamiond necklace in the shape with a heart on the end. Kenzie opened her mouth in suprise and he took the necklace and placed it around her neck.

"It's beautiful!" She said.

He leaned down and gave her a kiss. He smiled, obiviously proud of her reaction.

Next she opened her best friends gift. It was a bag of t-shirts that Kenzie had wanted me to get but I refused because they were 30 dollars a shirt, and they only said random things. She squealed and omg-ed and asked how she got them.

Finally, she opened me and Eithans gift. Her got wide when she saw it. She got her learners permit so we went ahead and got her a car. The car she wanted. The 2014 Chevorlet Malibu, but she didn't know that, yet. Just wait til she goes outside.

She opened the rest of the gifts and then ate another piece of cake. Then we all went outside. "Come on everyone lets go outside!" I said. Everyone followed me outside and around back. Eithan let up the garage doors and there was Kenzie's car.

Her mouth fell to the floor literally. She jumped up and down screaming thank you and hugged us both. She took the car keys and cranked up the car and blew the horn. Then she shut the car off and came back over to us.

"Thank you so much mom and dad I love you guys!" She said hugging us both at the same time.

She let us go and went over to her boyfriend. He hugged and her and told her congrats. He placed his arms over her shoulder and she placed her around his back. They were soon joined by her friends.

5 minutes later she came up to us asking if they could take the car for a spin. I said sure and told them to be back before 6. It was 5:30

They left all got into the car and cranked up the radio to where is was blaring 23 by Miley Cyrus, Juicy J, and Big Sean.

All the other people had been left and it was just Kenzie's boyfriend and two of her friends cars left in the driveway. Thank goodness no one ran into my new BMW.

I got a good deal on it. I got both the BMW and the Malibu for $59,000. Its way less then what I would have paid.

At 5:58 the kids came rolling back in. They all grabbed there keys, purses, and whatever else they had. Kenzie kissed her boyfriend goodbye for like 5 minutes outside in the doorway. I just shook my head.

She came back in the house and sat across from Eithan.

"Thanks for the car!" She said.

"Your welcome sweetie!" I told her.

She smiled and looked down at her necklace.

"That's a beautiful necklace sweetie!" I told Kenzie.

She nodded in agreement and smiled.

I knew that she really liked this boy but I'm really afraid that he's going to hurt her. Bad! Then she's going to be all heartbroken.

If he hurts my baby girl then lets just say he won't be around to hurt anyone else. No way is Kenzie going threw what I went through with Derek. The first time I see a mark on Kenzie and its from him. He will regret ever putting his hands on her.

I looked over at Kenzie, she was still.smiling at the necklace. I sighed. Young Love. Its such a beautiful thing but the bad part about it is you never know if its temporary or if its til eternity or when or how its going to end. Consider my life a lessen well learned. I know I did.
