{Rosie's POV}
"You need to focus. It's not that hard. Just keep a clear mind." Loki says. I don't know how I ended up here. Okay well I do, but it all went so fast I could barely process it. I finished eating my food and I was just watching TV. I was, thankfully, starting to feel better pretty fast. He came down to me and he wanted to help me with my magic. I knew my plan, so I said yes. "Just keep your mind clear." Loki says. "I-I can't." I say. I can't keep my mind clear. Just being trapped in a house with my father and missing my friends. Sure, so easy to keep my mind clear. "Just try." Loki says putting a hand on my back as I keep my hands in the position he showed me. "I am t-trying!" I say. "You can do it. Just stay foc-" "No! STOP!" I say and I move my hands and cover my face. I feel his hand tense up on my back. "I-I'm sorry I just can't do it." I say and I sit down on the ground. "It's okay. You're still weak. We can try again later darling." Loki says. He always calls me that. Darling. Precious. Hela. I hate it when he calls me it. But it makes me feel loved. "Okay." I say huffing and I stand back up. He is so tall compared to me. I'm a whopping 4' 9" and he stands at least a foot over me. "Could we just watch some TV...together?" I ask him.

{Hazel's POV}Emerson and I sit together on the couch in the living room. I listen to the sound of his fingers tapping the keys. I flip through the TV trying to keep my eyes open. The pattering of the rain hitting the glass walls makes me tired. The dark room flashes with light, and then goes back to the darkness, except on the eerie glow of the computer on Emerson's face.
Lightning.*FLASH BACK*
The halls flash with light, casting scary shadows as I walk down the hall. I hear myself whimper as I slowly tip toe down the hall. Lightning cracks, making me jump. I walk slowly down the hall way again, pushing open a door. "Daddy?" I say poking my head into the room. "What's wrong baby girl?" My dad sits up in his bed and looks at me standing in the doorway. "The lightning is waking up the monsters in my room." I say. "I think the monsters in our room are still asleep, you can stay in here tonight. Just this once, since mommy is away right now." My dad says and he pats the space next to him.
*END FLASHBACK*
The rain, and the tapping of the keys is enough to put me to sleep, but the thought of Rosie is enough to keep me awake. I grab the blanket by my feet and drape it over myself to keep me warm. My mind is constantly fighting with its self. To sleep, or not to sleep? Not usually wins. It fights with its self. He could be hurting Rosie. But of course he's not, he loves her. What if she can't find a way out? Of course she can't or else she would come back to us. Would she come back? Don't be stupid Hazel, of course she would. Lightning cracks making me jump slightly and lose track of my thought. I hear the pounding of someone running down the steps and Emerson and I both sit up and look at the steps. "I GOT IT! I GOT IT!" Chase comes running down the steps and down the hall way towards the lab. Emerson and I smile at each other before we both run for the lab.
