I am getting more organised with this schnitzel though so I will be able to update more soon I think... half term's only 3 weeks away, anyways! So... yeah.... hope you understand! x <3

Have a great week, love Georgie xxx ~~

CHAPTER 28

The ice cold winter air swirled around me as I crossed the main road. It was cold today; the ice was cutting down my spine like a knife and was making convulse with want of heat. My destination was Harmony and Molly, who were possible freezing their bums off on the park swings by now. They were probably detailing the ways they would slowly kill me for letting them turn into live snowwomen in the predictable North Wales chill.

I didn’t know why I was here; shouldn’t I be somewhere else? The destination for where I was meant to be stumped me but I knew I shouldn’t be walking along Bangor Road towards the park near Molly’s.

I kept walking. The cold was diminishing and a numb feeling was setting in. I should really be home right now, with a cup of Noah’s crappy tea in my frozen hands. But I was walking to the park, in Pen, to see my friends… for no apparent reason.

An ache set in at the thought of Noah, but I shouldn’t say why it was there. All I knew was that it felt like the prongs of a fork had plunged into my heart and someone had given it a good twist. Maybe the ice had finally reached my centre and I was having the opposite to heart burn. Heart freeze?

I was nearly there. Marching up the hill – stomping my feet to try and get feeling into them (it didn’t work) – I spotted two brunettes on the swings. My heart soared slightly at the sight and I picked up the pace.

“Hey, Darlin’; long time, no see.”

My feet halted in the snow and fear crept in. Looking to my right and to the building I spent hours a week practicing dance I found a familiar someone leaning against the wall. To say this man was familiar in the ‘He’s-been-there-all-the-way-through’ would be a complete and total lie. Truthfully I had only met him once but he had haunted me from our last meet. He haunted my dreams and had imprinted on my brain. He scared the shit out of me.

“Hi,” I gulped, taking a step back. “How are you, TweedleDumb?”

His gnarled yellow teeth were produced in an unwelcomed smile as he pushed himself off the building’s outer walls and towards me. I scuttled back further, my eyes shooting between the park where my friends were swinging and the sexual predator.

Molly and Harmony are only yards away…

“I’m good, Honey, but you should be more concerned about yourself. You left quite the mark the last time we met.” I gulped, thinking back to how I knocked the man out with one hit. “And I need to repay you for that.” If my heart wasn’t already frozen from the cold then it certainly was now.

I scuffled further down the hill; knowing I was closer to the busy road, closer to the nosey villagers that would surely help me if needs be. Needs were be.

“Now, now; is that any way to talk to a fine young lady?” This voice came from the fence to my left and whipping towards the sound I saw Dumb’s companion – leader looking at me through the grating of the fence with a demonic look in his eyes.
