~~ Hey Guys! Chapter 29 is up and running *yaaaaaaay*. I wanna say I'm sorry about the delay but sixth form is so bloody heavy! They should really make a Ned's Diclassified for this thing! Cheese!

Okay, so this is a prewarning!!! Jodi is athiest -- come moi -- and if any of you are like totally religious then I was wondering if you could take this with a pinch of salt. Britain isn't the most religious and so, she won't believe in it, she's a scientist in nature, I guess >.<

By the way; what do you think of the pic on the side? Isn't Francisco the cutest??? asdfghjkl; >.< right there ----->
And yeah, I changed my name finally... what do you think? I know it's not a ma-hoosive change... but...

Hope you all have a great weekend everybody,
Love Georgie xxx ~~

CHAPTER 29

“Your car’s broke,” I said simply, sitting in the steering-wheel-less side of the front seat.

“No, it’s not. Harvey checked it last night.” Noah looked at me with confused eyes as I rolled my eyes and looked at him in pity.

“My dear Noah, I am not a car expert but I do know that the steering wheel and the pedals are supposed to be on this side.” I patted the dash board affectionately.

A sigh escaped his lips as he threw his head back, letting the beach’s wind ruffle his hair more. “We’re in America… it won’t be the same as your damn British car, Jodi.” I rolled my eyes and straightened in the gorgeous tan seats. He threw his head forward and turned to look at me with slightly tired eyes. “Do you wanna learn how to drive a car?”

“Is this… legal?”

“In California you can be fifteen and a half and over, so… yes, yes it is,” he mocked me from my confrontation with his mother. I rolled my eyes and reaching out I gave him a little shove. “So, do you wanna learn how to drive a car or not?”

I rolled my eyes again and slowly nodded. “Teach me the ways, Oh-Wise-One.”

He laughed and nodded. “I prefer if you call me God.”

“Whatever.”

We fell into silence, both staring into each other’s eyes waiting for the other to break the hold. It was Noah who broke it and looked out the windscreen. “Come on then.” I looked at him in confusion and with a roll of his eyes he slapped his knees. “On my knee Jodi, I’m showing you the stuff.”

Without another word from his lips I climbed over the gear shift and plonked down on his knee. He placed his chin on my shoulder and wrapped his tanned arms around my waist. It felt so natural and I didn’t even think about how I had just done what I was told – well, not as much as I would have thought to have had. “Okay, well that one’s the acceleration,” he pointed to the right pedal, before pointing to the middle; “that’s the break and that one,” he pointed to the one on the left; “that’s the clutch which lets you change gears and reverse et cetera.”

“Okay, got it.”

“I’ll drive us back, you watch what I do and then we’ll have you ride up my drive, okay?” I nodded and soon we were on the highway; my flossy hair blowing in his face as Noah drove. It mustn’t be legal to have someone sitting on the driver’s knee whilst in motion, but who cares? I can say that neither of us did.

Noah whispered softly into my ear about what he was doing and why and every time his hot breath whisked around my ear and he told me another secret to how to ride a car my stomach flip, flopped and dropped and the rest of me tingled thinking about the kiss. That kiss. Our kiss.
