Chapter 3~The Gang leader Kidnapped Me

Step 1: Get Kidnapped By A Gang leader.

If you've read the book, you'd know that Vanessa didn't ask to be kidnapped. Whereas, me on the other hand begged to be kidnapped. It actually became my prayer point, “Dear God, as I step out today, may I be kidnapped by a gang leader, Amen.” While girls my age prayed for good grades, cute boyfriends and a celebrity to follow them on twitter, I prayed to be kidnapped. Normal, right?

So I got kidnapped, the heavens finally heard my prayers.

Since my kidnapper refused me the right to know his name or to see his face, I decided to name him.

So people, get ready to meet candidate number three......... Huckleberry Finn. I imagined him to be blonde.

Step 1-completed.

Step 2: You Fall For The Kidnapper And Find Out He Has Fallen For You Already.

You see, while Vanessa and Keith played hide and seek love, and Keith gave her hugs, kisses and a cow. My kidnapper gave me slaps. Look on the bright side, I got something. I began to think of it as a love-hate relationship, that was until the force of the slaps increased and I realized that Huckleberry was trying to kill me. I could barely see straight from pain. I didn't even go to a carnival, heck, I didn't even go to a coffee shop.

Believe me, my prayer point changed. It went something like this, “Dear God, deliver me from the hands of my captives.”

I was released a few days later after dad paid a really huge sum of money.

I did have one regret though, they never asked me to be their spy.

Step 2 was not entirely completed, but we got somewhere, right?

Step 3: Profess Your Love to Each Other.

This step didn't happen because I was released but I doubt that it would have happened seeing that Huckleberry was bent on ending my life.

So, it'll be safe to call it another epic fail.
