Step1: Your Parents Go On A Trip And Leave You In The Care Of Their Friends Who Happens To Have An Uptight Son.

Dad decided to leave us, me and Geoffrey, in the hands of his friend (which was actually one more than I thought he'd make) when he and mom decided to go on a business trip. That was how we moved in to live with my parents friends.

And I also met Candidate number 14.......Usain Williams.

Step 2: Turns Out He Hate You Because You're Always Happy.

In the book, Bronte was always smiling and rarely got angry(a quality I lacked but had to acquire in order to make this love story work) and Blake rarely smiled. So, I embarked on a very difficult task. it was a good thing that Usain and Blake had anger in common, else, we all know that I've failed even before I begin.

I decided to be always happy and even when Usain annoyed to the point where I'd have lost my cool on a normal occasion, I had to be strong. An opportunity Geoffrey grabbed to torment me.

The hatred Usain had for me grew from grass to zenith but I was convinced that he was in love with me.

Step 2✅

Step 3: As Predicted, He Falls In Love With You But Doesn't Want To Date You Because The Entire World Says He's Not Good Enough For You.

If only people had the ability to mind their business, this book would have been it for me.

Just kidding.

Turned out Usain not only hated me because I was all smiles and sunshine, but also because of an incident that occurred when we were kids. I couldn't and still can't recognize him because puberty did an amazing job on him. As kids, he looked like a kid suffering from a nutritional deficiency but now, he looked like Taylor Lautner, only muscular.

As to why he hated me, I burnt his toy.

Back then, I had no idea it was a toy because it looked like a voodoo doll and I was scared shitless. I got anointing oil and holy water and sprayed on it. Plus I may or may not have set it on fire.

This love story was ruined by mistake of the past.

But I blame his parents for not getting him an Xbox or PlayStation.

Legendary fail.
