Chapter 13~ The Cell Phone Swap

Step 1: You Lose Your Phone, Only To Discover That It Isn't Yours And You Have To Wait A Week To Get Yours Back.

In the book, Keeley lost her phone and took and one identical to hers, only to discover it wasn't hers.

Me on the other hand, switched my phone with candidate number 13s. Candidate number 13 wanted to switch phones but I claimed to be at a camp which will last for a week. A Lie.

Within the course of one week, Candidate number 13 and I found out a great deal about ourselves.

Am pleased to announce Grant Small as Candidate number 13.

Step 2: You Meet To Swap Phones Back, But He Acts Funny And Leaves. 

Grant and I set up a meeting to swap back our phones. I arrived at the agreed location and waited for a few minutes before someone barged in and yelled,

"Hey, am Grant! Looking for a Sandra!"

Embarrassed, I raised my hand and watched the little boy of about 12 years approach my table.

"Hey Sandra! Am Grant."

I looked at him for a few minutes. "Okay. Where's your brother?"

"What brother?"

"You know, the one that has this phone and is supposed to look like a Greek god," I asked chuckling nervously.

"I feel insulted," Grant's wannabe said placing his hand on his chest.

"That's horrible! But seriously though, where's your brother?"

"Am Grant Small, believe it or not!" he slammed his fist on the table, got up and snatched his phone from me and threw mine at me .

"Just because I don't look like a Greek god now, does not mean I won't look like one tomorrow." And just like that, he left.

"Well, can I get your brother's number?" I called after him.

Step 3: You Both Fall In Love.

You know that didn't happen because Grant is 12 years old and I don't date 12 year olds.

Epic fail with a little bit of embarrassment.
