Chapter 6~ Hope Is Mine

Step 1: Have A Stalker Who Gonna Turn Out To Be Your Best friend.

I know, not everyone likes the idea of having a stalker. Normal people don't like the idea of having a stalker.

Well, thank God am not normal, else, this would have been a catastrophe (big word) even before it began.

Best Friend=Stalker.

Stalker=Best Friend.

This is going to be hard seeing as I don't have any friends just a few aquittances. As for the stalker aspect, I do have one. I mean who wouldn't want to stalk me.

I decided to befriend my stalker.

I remember the look on his face when I said 'Hi' to him for the first time and asked him to be my friend. He looked like a teenage girl who had been told that Ed Sheeran would give her a private concert.

I know what you're thinking; "is she crazy befriending her stalker?" And yet, some of you will deny thinking that but that's not my major concern.

Ladies and Gents, presenting candidate number six.........Ebube Eze.

Step 2: Convince Him To Scare You For Life And Later Kidnap You.

In the book, Hope had no idea who her stalker was until much later. Since Ebube was satisfied with me paying attention to him, I decided to give him the idea. Lets just say am very good with words.

I told him to scare the girl he liked and later kidnap her as chicks dig this type of things this days and I especially would like it if my secret admirer scared and kidnapped me. It would be like in those horror movies I'd seen and wanted to happen to me.

Ebube took it pretty serious and kidnapped me. Calm down people, you're probably thinking, "What in heavens name is wrong with this child? Didn't she learn her lesson after being kidnapped by a gang leader?" Yes, you're still free to deny thinking that, I don't judge.

Unlike Hope's case, there was no murder of my father, attempted murder of my mother, careless carving of the word 'MINE' on my tummy, wicked grandma or twins.

It was just me, my stalker -Ebube- and a very dark room.

Step 2:✔

Step 3: Shoot Him While Kissing Him And Pray He's Out Of Your Life For Good. 

Now, don't go thinking, "What sort of lunatic encourages someone to kidnap her and then shoots him while kissing him?" I still won't judge, deny all you want.

In the book, after Hope had been tortured for what felt like eternity, she discovered she loves Mr. Stalker guy. Crazy, right?

She shot him while kissing him and let me tell you this, it is the most romantic gesture that has been written in a book. Ever.

So I kissed him and shot him while we were still....you know. Well, he didn't come back unlike in the book.

That makes me a murderer. Literally.

Just don't tell

My Mom ~ it'd kill her.

My Dad ~ he'll be disappointed.

My Brother ~ he'll want me to teach him how to shoot to kill.

But most especially, don't tell

The Authorities ~ I'll be arrested, jailed.

Let them keep thinking he actually kidnapped me and I shot him out of self-defense.

Let it be our little secret.

So......Another iconic fail, is it?
