"Daddy!" I knocked on the door to his office.

"Come in"

I walked in to see Keisha sitting in a chair across from him and Camilla standing off to the side.

"What did you do?" I questioned, glancing at Keisha.

"Girl, I didn't do anything. We were talking business"

I sat down in the chair beside her because I really didn't feel like standing right now.

"Business?" I questioned.

"She's trying to finesse her way into the company. I told her that she could be my secretary, but only if she could handle it.

I poked her in the side. "Can you handle dat?" I busted out laughing.

What was I saying?

"I know for a fact that I can't handle that. I'm not responsible enough. Can't I just sell overpriced baked goods from Ukrops or something? What they don't know won't hurt them."

I heard Daniel's scream and he ran into the office.

"Daddy!" He screamed, running over to his side of the desk.

Mom walked in behind him, and I was sort of surprised to see her.

Technically, she still lived here, but I rarely saw her.

"Camilla, don't you have something to clean?"

"Don't you have some friends to ditch your kids for?"

"Charles, she's being disrespectful" Serenity complained.

"By telling the truth?"

"I'm gonna be here now. I swear" She whined.

It was childish.

"Why?"

"For Sage and Emerson of course. And my Grandson."

"The one you were so disgusted about in the beginning?"

"Sage was disgusted by him at first too, why is it okay for her view to change and not mine?"

I got up and left the room.

I didn't want to say anything disrespectful.

"Baby mama, slow down. I haven't seen you move this fast in months" Keisha called after me.

I giggled. "Keisha, be quiet"

"I'm serious, you were just about jumping up those steps" She opened the door to my room for me.

"Thank you" I said and waddled over to my bed before sitting down.

"Sage, are you happy?" She questioned out of nowhere.

"I'm happy with myself. That's great" I twisted my lip to the side.

"What are you unhappy about?"

"A lot of things, but I won't dwell on them. How are you and Troy?"

It turned out that when Keisha said 'Boy toy named Troy, used to live in Detroit,' she wasn't lying at all. Her boyfriends name was in fact Troy and he had been in and out of Detroit a few times.

She rolled her eyes, but grinned anyways. "We're great. He still think that he can make me a calm person, but girl, please. I'm too much"

I giggled. "How are Ace and Nadia?"

I barely saw them, but they were very caught up in the drug business.

I wouldn't have expected that from Nadia because she's so smart, but from what Covonte and Keisha told me, Nadia does her job well.

Covonte does a little here and there, but Keisha didn't associate herself at all.

Make up was still her thing and that was all she was going to do.

"Good. Great even. Are you happy with Bryson?"

"Not right now, no. But I'll get over it"

"You'd better"
