Bryson

"Where's Sage at?" Keisha questioned.

I shrugged. "Do I look like I keep tabs on that girl?"

"That girl? The one that you love oso much?"

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "Aight, Keisha. I don't want to talk about it"

Her words cut me deep.

I never expected her to say some shit like that to me, and it was fucking with my head.

She loved me, but she didn't want to have my baby.

"Hey, Sage!"

"Hi" She responded dryly and put her nose into her phone.

We weren't talking at the moment, and I didn't think that we'd be talking for a few moments.

"How are you?"

"Great" She replied sarcastically.

"How's the baby?"

"Hell if I know. Probably okay"

"Fuck is a probably okay?" I stared at her.

She ignored what I said altogether.

"You guyssss. Stop. You're both being stupid"

"Sage is being stupid. I'm perfectly fine" I lowered my hat.

"Yeah, well I look at you and I realize just how stupid I am" Sage responded.

"Oh, yeah?" I challenged.

"Damn right" She huffed.

"You guys are acting like children. Chill out"

"A child having a child. That's exactly why I don't want the damn thing" Sage put her phone away and looked me directly in the face.

"You gone learn to stop referring to my child as some fucking 'thing' and acknowledge him as a person"

"Him?" She frowned. "I'll refer to it however I want to"

"You keep testing me Sage. You better stop"

"Or what?"

Nothing.

I wasn't going to do a damn thing to her.

"Thought so" She got up and stormed away.

Omniscient

"What are you doing?" Sage questioned, looking at Bryson from his doorway.

"What do you think?" He threw some more of his clothes into the suitcase.

"Y-you're leaving?"

"Of course I am. I'm not finna do this back and fourth bullshit with you anymore Sage"

"I need you" She called.

"Nah, you don't. You need to get yourself together"

"Where are you going?"

"I don't know, and I don't care. At this point, I'd rather be homeless than to go through this with you"

Bryson zipped up his suitcase and threw it on the floor.

"Call me if it has anything to do with my son"

Sage rushed over to Bryson's suitcase and unzipped it, throwing the clothes on the floor.

"You can't leave me, Bryson. I won't let you"

"You acting like you want me to go so I am. Stop acting crazy"

"You think I'm crazy?"

"I said that you acting crazy"

Bryson watched Sage as she dumped the whole suitcase upside down.

"Stop, man. Let me go"

"Bryson, stop" Sage pulled at his arm, trying to stop him from re-stuffing his bag.

"Bye, Sage"
