Micah and Sage both slept in the hospital bed.

She had been asleep for about thirty minutes, and he had been asleep for hours.

Sage was in labor for 16 hours for a baby that was only 5 pounds.

I laid beside them, and stared up at the ceiling.

Charles and Serenity sat in some chairs on the other end of the room.

I don't know where the hell she's been for the last few months, but she popped up hella fast.

"He looks just like you" Charles commented.

I smirked and took another glance at him.

He looked the same way that I did when I was a baby.

I sat up and took him off of Sage before laying back down.

Jayda and Daniel were too young to be in the room, so they were at home.

They also had a limit on the amount of people allowed in the room so our friends decided to greet us when we got back home.

He began to move his pink self against me, and I smiled when he opened his eyes.

"Hey" I spoke and adjusted his neck.

Micah looked at me and blinked before closing his eyes again.

I had a son.

Charles held Micah, and I helped Sage out of the back of the car. "Walking feels weird" She mumbled and took a few slow steps.

"I could imagine that, boo. You ain't walk in three days"

I knew that Ace, Covonte, Keisha, and Nadia wanted to plan a welcome home party for them, but I didn't know if they actually did it or not.

We walked through the door, and the whole house was decorated.

"Sage, where was you?" Daniel questioned and stomped on her foot.

"Ow"

He shrugged his shoulders and walked over to his dad.

"Daddy, who that?" He questioned, pulling on his pants leg.

"Your nephew"

"No thank you"

I laughed.

"It wasn't an option"

"Tell him I kick people back" He said and ran off into the kitchen.

"Surprise!"

"My hormones are still crazy. You guys are gonna make me cry" Sage wiped her eyes, making me smile.

"This ain't the time for crying, Basil. We got cake!" Covonte grinned childishly. "Chocolate, vanilla, kid friendly, and even some for the adults"

Ace was sitting in a chair, holding Jayda's hands as she tried to stand on her feet correctly.

I haven't seen my baby girl in two days.

"Somebody record Jayda meeting her brother"

Jayda shrieked when she saw Sage and I and tried to break free from Ace.

He sat her down on the ground and she immediately crawled over to us.

I picked her up and sat down in a chair.

Sage sat down beside me and Charles handed Micah to her.

"Jayda, look" I said and sat her up on my leg.

She looked at Micah with wide eyes and tried to touch him.

I smiled before leaning her in closer.

"Ah" She ran her thumb across his forehead before rubbing her hand in his hair.

"Family goals" Keisha cheered and clapped her hands.

Micah opened his eyes, startled because someone was touching him.

His eyes locked with Jayda's and they stared at each other for a few moments before Micah's lips turned upwards into a smile.

Jayda laughed and started drooling.

They were really trying to make me cry again.

"Bryson, look"

"I see, boo"

Micah cooed before closing his eyes and crying.

"Feeding time bih"

I glared at Covonte, and he turned around before laughing again.

Jayda reached her hand up and played in my beard hairs before she started crying also.

"Double the tears, bih"

Sage and I sat in the bed with both of our children.

Micah was asleep, and Jayda watched him intensely.

It was crazy because somehow Jayda knew that she had to be careful around him.

She glanced at him before looking back at me and yawning.

"Up"

Sage and I both froze.

"What you say, Jayda?"

Jayda outstretched her arms and repeated herself. "Up"

"Bryson, she just said her first word"

I lifted her up and kissed her on the lips before Sage did the same thing and set her down.

Jayda rubbed her eye before falling asleep beside Micah.

"I love you" I mumbled and brought her hand up to my lips.

"I love you too, Bryson"
