I got to class and Megan was already sitting at her desk which was two seats away from me. Our teacher was out today due to his wife being in the hospital delivering their first child. Everyone sat where they wanted. Megan sat behind me. I felt super uncomfortable. Not because she has an uncomfortable atmosphere, but because we never talked and she sat behind me like we were best friends. She tried talking to me but it was so loud and she was so nervous her voice was a lowered distorted sound I could barely make out that she said "Hey, Jess!" The bell rang signaling everyone to go home.
