Chapter 7

I sat there waiting. I was not able to think. Mike came in. I grabbed him and hugged him until our time was almost up. I quickly told him what he needed to do. he nodded and was whisked away from me. Gina came next. And Brett. "where have you been!" I yelled. I gave Brett a hug and we talked all about Michael. Then they were also taken away. They put me in a car with Finnick and Lillian. I was quiet almost the whole time. What reason to talk anyway? "when we arrive you will meet up with mags again!" Said Lillian. "how exciting!" she looked at our faces and frowned. "hmmm?" I could see how hard she was trying to lighten the mood. I helped her out. "yeah, it would be nice to see her again."

Finnick's POV

It wasn't a very long drive over to the train station. I was very worried about Annie. She was like a sister to me. When she came in to say goodbye, I told her I'm going to come back for her. We needed to act like we were in love. All of panem thought we were madly in love With each other, And To be completely and utterly honest, Annie was a good friend of mine and very beautiful as well. She will find a good husband someday. When all of this is over, And Snow is dead.

Viola and Lillian had been talking about mags. She was my mentor, I love her. She is half my family. I need some family right now. We had arrived on the train already and we started going toward the Capitol. Oh how fun. I sat over by the window of the train. No more lakes or water. I've been around water my whole life I've never been without it. i looked over and saw viola. She was beautiful. Her wavy brown hair,her blue eyes. She hated me though. Yeah I'll have a great chance. Viola Ravin is the toughest in district 4. Many men are after her back home. I don't talk to her much either. "Finnick!" "Viola!" someone called out. It was mags! I ran over and picked her up and pulled her into a hug. "Finnick!" she yelled as she laughed. "Put me down!" The smile on her face made me feel good.

Viola's POV

Mags. "Viola!" "Mags!" "I missed you so much!" "How have you been!" I Said. "very well, yourself?" "Oh alright." I said looking down. "She wrapped her arms around me. I whispered "thank you" into her ear. Trying to hold back the flood of tears.

"Let's all go to the dining car" says Lillian. "hey viola." says Finnick. "What now Odair?" I said. "Meet me on the roof at 8:00 tonight" he said.
