Chapter 13: ........

When I woke up, I received an iMessage from an email I don't recognize. But after Bella told me that I'm being paranoid, I don't know if it's Heather. But that iMessage said "Hi, it's Noah. I know I shouldn't be texting you because you want space. But I can't stand being without you. Lavender, I miss you around. I love your sweet, intelligent smile and humour. I want you back, maybe I can't have you back romantically; but can I at least have you back as a friend?" So maybe I miss him romantically too, but like Bella said he's not worth it. He's not even worth a friend, plus it could be Heather trying to play with my feelings. I could just ask him at school anyway, he'll tell me the truth. I have him rapped on my fingers. I got up from my bed and got my bag and headed outside and saw Carly waiting outside for me. "Hey, what's up?" I ask and start walking with Carly to school.

"Nothing, just chilling. Hey, I not supposed to say this, but when you went on the bus to go to Bella's house; Heather came and started walking with me. So she told me that you tried convincing Derek to hate me because you like him."

"I didn't do that. Carly, I never even knew about that until Bella told me." Interesting, she starts with Carly huh? Heather wasn't joking about making all my friends against me.

"Oh, did you talk to Derek at all before my date?"

"Yes, all the time in September. I rarely see him now-a-days."

"Okay." she says very sad. It was quiet after that. When we got to school, Carly was running straight to Heather and they hugged. Which was really weird, something is going on. I see Noah sitting on the side of the wall really down. I need to talk to him anyway so I went over there anyway. I sat beside him and I say "Did you send me a text this morning?"

"Yeah, you read it?" he says really happy all the sudden.

"Yes. I did indeed. I appreciate your effort of getting me back, but I don't think getting a boyfriend is my next step. I mean, someone's already out to get me."

"Okay, I understand. But know I will always be there for you. Are we friends?"

"Yeah, sure. I need as much as possible. Heather's going to make them all against me anyway. She already started with Carly, and it seems like she's believing whatever Heather says."

"Lavender, this is all my fault. Know that you will never lose me."

I laugh "I get the point friend. Please stop making this awkward between us."

"Sure." After that, was just pure silence. It felt weird, too weird.

At school, in the cafeteria I ordered pizza and sat down with Carly and Bella. They didn't seem too happy with me. "Hey guys." I say to lighten up the air. They still look at me with dirty looks. "Okay, tell me already, what did I do?"

"Nothing. Why do you ask?" says Bella

"You seem to look at me with these dirty looks all the time."

"Carly's looking at you like that. In fact, she always looks at people like that, she looks at people with disgust and she eats like a llama." Bella wasn't lying, it was true. She eats carrots like Bugs Bunny and eats salad like a llama.

"Whatever. I don't understand life anymore. I need a reality check, big time. Lavender, are you sure that you don't like Derek?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Don't believe Heather, she's a maniac."

"He had second thoughts on our date."

"How do you know?"

"It looked like it, and plus I heard him talking t one of his friends about it." Carly takes a deep breath and tears started coming down on her cheek. "He said he started to like someone else."

"It's Heather, it has to be. He even told me. Another point of why you shouldn't believe her. She knows everything, and she will use that to her advantage."

"Heather is my friend too." she says and she starts to yell "if you're so jealous over what she'll do then why do I even bother being friends with you? God, Lavender why do are you so overprotective all the time?" now she's yelling like crazy and everyone in the cafeteria's listening "you know what, why do I even bother, you are the worst bitch I have ever met." when she's finally done screaming at me she storms out of the cafeteria. Much as like how I was when Heather started yelling at me and I was so embarrassed. I look over at Heather and she's smiling really evilly. I just start slouching. "Don't worry Lavender. Heather just got into Carly's brain but I'm sure she'll get some sense kicked in her."
"Thanks Bell." Wow, I'm really not going to lose Bella am I?

After school, I was going to walk to back home. But when I was going to walk home, I saw Carly walking with Heather. I lost Carly, and I see now why Heather started with Carly first; Carly is a very persuasive person and she can tell anyone, anything and they'll believe it. Plus she's really stubborn and Heather is ten times more persuasive than her. I just need to keep her away from all my other friends. No, Carly's going to manipulate Derek, I have to talk to him before anything happens. I just went on the bus with Bella at the end of the day, told her what I thought and walked home. I have a lot of work to do, because Heather can't win this fight.

I was determined to write this chapter, because if you were anything like me, I like books that's already finished so I don't have to wait a billion years for one chapter. Also, I think I got boring during the following chapters before I got to this one. So if you are following me, I will make a post about reading my book because it's not as boring now. I tend to do that when I'm being rushed or if I'm not feeling the chapter. See you in the next chapter.
