Skylar POV

After a very emotional conversation with Lau , I decided to head home . I thought this visit was going to be happy and full of smiles but I guess not . I didn't even bother to tall to Larry because he was wrong for what he said . Accusing me of cheating ? That's low . I'm glad my kids didn't hear anything though . They don't need to be around all of that nonsense . But in secrecy while Lau and I were out there , I told Lau I'd come back after Larry left because I really didn't want to see him .

"Mommy why daddy no come home with us ?" Carter asked with a pouty face . I sighed wondering the same thing . "Well sweety , daddy has to do some things before he can okay ?" I told him tightening my grip on his hand . He nodded and began rubbing his eyes . We were home by now and sitting on our comfy couch . "You guys tired ?" I asked . They all nodded and piled up on me . I laughed lightly and picked them up . Lau on my left , Carter on my right and Lauren on my back . I carried the upstairs and put them down for bed . Lauren instantly fell asleep after I tucked her in , then Laurence and Carter being last . I closed their door and tiptoed back downstairs . I put my shoes back on and grabbed my keys . I sat down and waited for Lau's text . Like it's 9:00 , doesn't he have a family to tend to ?

I felt my phone vibrate and unlocked it . I saw Lau's text and was ready to go . I looked upstairs and sighed praying my babies wouldn't get hurt while I was gone . I set the security alarm and locked the door as I left .

I signed myself in when I reached the center and went straight up to Lau's room . I knocked on the door and waited . Gosh I can't wait to see him . It's only been a few hours but I miss him . I saw his face when he opened the door a smiled . He gave me a soft smile back and moved aside for me to come in . "So um , did they ask about me ?" He asked while striding towards me to take a seat on the couch . "Yeah , they asked why didn't you come home with us ?" I said with a tiny smile . I saw him smile with his head down . "They got bigger didn't they ?" He asked . I saw a tear fall from his eyes and stared at him , my heart breaking . "Yeah , they're all three and LJ is 8 ." I told him . He put his fingers up to the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath . "I missed out ." He whispered . I watched as his wall was being torn down . He let out a shaky breath and moved his hand , looking at me with slightly pink eyes . "Why don't you just leave me Skylar ?" He asked . That hit me hard . Leave ??! How could I leave the one that I love , my babies dad , my husband ?

"Leave you ? Lau how could you say something like that ? I would never leave you we've been through too much ." I told him while grabbing his hand . I felt little to no pain doing this so I didn't let go . "Look what I did Skylar . I missed my babies birthday , I missed almost miss us wedding anniversary , I miss you birthday and almost mine . I raped you for fucksake , I beat you for no reason for months ," He had to stop to stop himself from crying . "I broke us vows Skylar . I cheat on you and did all bad things . Why you want to stay with me ?" He asked . I felt a stray tear slide down my cheek and wiped it . What he said was true . Most women would leave and go find a new man , but I can't . "Laurent listen to me , I'm never leaving you . Yeah you messed up big , but I know you still love me . You tried to get better and you did . You did this for us and the kids . Lau , our love got stronger because of that . I'm never leaving you because you don't deserve it . None of this was your fault ." I told him . I reached up and dried his tears as he watched .

"I know you missed a lot but you're here now . You're you again and that's all that matters . We missed you Laurent and now your back ." I told him while cupping his face in my hands . I leaned forward and kissed his sad lips hoping to get him to loosen up . It worked . I felt him starting to kiss me back reaching down to grab my hips . He lifted me up and sat me down on his lap . He pulled me dangerously close to his body leaving little to no space between us . I ignored the little pain I felt and dug my fingers in his twists .
