Skylar POV

It took me a good fifteen minutes to get Lau from crying . I've never seen him cry this hard and long before . I mean , he hasn't cried like this since he got back , so I kinda understand . He eventually cried himself to sleep while holding me on the floor . I shook him awake since I can't carry him to bed like he does to me . I led him to his bed and laid down with him . I played in his hair and hummed lightly , putting him back to sleep . I crept out of his room and sighed , closing the door . I'm still really bothered by the ending of that dream . He killed me because I didn't try to escape like I did , but then he killed himself so he wouldn't have to live with that guilt . So basically the dream was like an eye opener to say that we were lucky . I'm lucky because I actually tried to get away and I did . Laurent was lucky because he got the help he needed and is back to normal . I would be dead if I didn't escape , Laurent would be dead too . My kids would be orphans , Larry without Laurent is not a world I would like to see . Their lives would be hell without us here .

I shook the thoughts and focused on the road before I wrecked . I pulled up in my driveway and pulled out my keys to unlock the door . I went straight upstairs to my babies room and peeked inside . I sighed in relief seeing them in bed . I closed their door and thanked God nothing happened to them . I went to my room and took a long relaxing shower . Once I was done with that , I laid down and drifted to sleep thinking of my husband .

Nobody POV

The next morning , Skylar woke up in a bit of a slump . She had a dream last night of Lau . It took place a few years ago when they proposed to each other during the OTR tour . It made her happy remembering it , but sad because of what happened last night . Speaking of that , she's going back today just to go check on him and let the kids see him .

"Mommy ?" A little voice called out to her . She sat up and rubbed her eyes with a small smile on her face . "Come here babies ." She said motioning for them to come to her . One by one they came in and climbed on the bed , piling on Skylar's lap . "Morning guys ." She said . "Morning mommy ." They said together . It made Skylar giggle , they're just like their dad and uncle . Always staying in unison without trying . "What do you guys want to eat today ?" She asked . Carter looked at Lauren and so did Laurence as if they talking to each other without speaking . "Can us get a happy meal mommy ?" She asked . Skylar giggled and nodded her head . "You guys stay in here while mommy washes okay . I'll turn on the TV so it won't be boring ." She said . They all scooted to the foot of the bed , practically laying on each other in the spacious bed . Skylar shook her head and switched the channel to Disney Junior seeing Mickey Mouse pop up .

She got up and picked out a pair of black panties and a bra . Nothing too lacey cause she does have to ho out in front too her kids like that to change . Although they won't be paying any attention to her because of their favorite show pixilated on the screen . She made her way into the bathroom and slightly cracked the door to listen if something happens . Skylar undressed and turned the shower on , deciding to take a warm shower instead of the usual hot showers she likes .

In the middle of rinsing her hair , the last thing she has to do , she heard the three babies laugh at something which made her smile . She wondered what was so funny about Mickey anyways . Whatever it is , they did a good job on it . She finished up and got out , drying off and blow drying her hair straight . She put a little moisturizer to keep it strong and healthy . She put on her bra and panties , stepping out of the bathroom , going straight to her closet . She decided to wear a simple shirt dress with some white shoes . She brushed her hair and fixed it up a not and started her makeup . It didn't take long since she does this everyday .
