Chapter 26. Escape

Freddy's POV

I wait on stage for (y/n). Why is it taking so long? I suddenly see something moving behind the wall. I lift one eyebrow and decide to take a look. I walk over to it and to my surprise see Goldie. He has his eyes closed and his forehead leans against the wall. "Goldie!" I say. He slowly opens his eyes and looks at me. "Hi." "Where were you!? What's going on?" I ask. "Somewhere." he answers and walks into the office. "What's wrong with you? Come on, tell me! You're not yourself!" Goldie sits down on the chair and places one hand on his forehead. He closes his eyes and sighs deep. "I'm an idiot, Freddy." "Why?" He opens his eyes and sighs again. "(Y/n) is in danger. Well actually, we are in danger." Wait, what!? "Goldie, please. Explain." "Springtrap was never gone." "What? But I thought that-" "I know. But he's still here. That's why I forbid you and the others to enter the basement, because Springtrap is there. You see, one night, Springtrap was sick of just staying in the basement. He wanted to get revenge. So he wanted to destroy you four. I stopped him and said that he can't do such a thing like that. He began to fight with me and I had to deactivate him. He was about to kill me. But now....Springtrap is awake." Are you kidding me....
"So (y/n) is not the only one who was lying here in this pizzeria..." I say. Goldie sighs. "I'm sorry I haven't told you guys about this, but I just....I don't want you all to be afraid." I don't exactly know what to think about this, but suddenly (y/n) crosses my mind. "(Y/n) and I were searching for you, but we couldn't find you anywhere. So (y/n) came up with the idea to search one last time, but not together. So we split up and now she's still gone, probably still looking for you. Where were you?" I ask. "Springtrap knocked me out and tied me up in the basement. Somewhat later I woke up and (y/n) was untying me. As soon as I was fully awake I grabbed her. I teleported away with her to the office...at least...that's what I thought. Once I was in the office, (y/n) was not near me."
That last sentence hit me real hard. "So she's still in the basement!!?" I almost yell. Goldie nods and I become really mad. "And why are you still standing here!? What the fuck, Goldie!!? Oh my god!!" "Springtrap won't harm-" "I don't give a damn! I'm going to get her out of there!!" "No! You can't! That will be your death for sure! Remember that Springtrap has special powers! We have to come up with a plan."

Your POV

Springtrap holds me close to his chest and I look at Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie. They're playing a game and soon they're arguing about who's right. I try to stand up but Springtrap pulls me back. "And where do you think you're going?" he asks. "I'm hungry." I answer. "Yeah, sure. Just an excuse to try to escape, huh?" "No! Not even! I'm really hungry." "Sure." Goddamnit! Ohhhh wait a second. I know exactly what to do. Act. When he puts his hands around my stomach I squeak and kick a bit around. "What the hell are you doing?" I pull his hands of my stomach and breathe in and out. "Are you okay?" I shake my head and he gets up. "Okay, okay, what do you need?" he asks. I sink to my knees and squeak a few times. "Uh do you need food!?" he says really shocked. I nod and he runs away. I see Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie looking at me and when Springtrap is totally out of sight Shadow Bonnie stands in front of me. "You're faking this, huh?" he says. I shake my head and he chuckles. "No, it's okay. Don't lie. I'm 100% sure you're faking this. It's fucking hilarious." I can't help but giggle and he looks at the door. "If I were you, I should go now." "Come with me then! I'm sure you and Shadow Freddy are sick of Springtrap commanding you two." I say. "True...but if he finds out-" "Just come with me!!" I say. They both nod and we run to the door. We leave the basement and I immediately see Freddy standing. "FREDDY!!" I yell and jump in his arms. "(Y/N)!" He catches me and hugs me so hard I almost can't breathe. After a couple of seconds he puts me on my feet again and observes me. "Did he hurt you?" I shake my head. "No, he was rather hugging me all the time." Freddy growls and pulls me to his stomach. "Awwww this is so cute." Shadow Freddy says. I blush and let go of Freddy and look at the Shadows. "Freddy, these are Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy. Shadows, this is Freddy." They greet each other and they get along pretty well.

"And how long are you two together?" Shadow Freddy asks. "Wait, what?" Freddy and I say. "You have a relation, right?" We both shake our heads and I let out a nervous laugh. "Nooo, we're really good friends." I say. "Aaawww! But you would make such a cute couple together!!" he whines. I let out another nervous laugh and Shadow Bonnie facepalms.
"I'm really hungry." "Well, come on then. I don't want to have you laying down on the floor again." "Oh, she already kinda did today." Shadow Bonnie says. I chuckle and explain it to Freddy.
