Imagine you are traveling towards the mountain when you hear Thorin and Company and rush to save him. I'm gonna put her name in but you may put in your name if you wish. Warning: sad stuff ahead

You were traveling quietly through the nights at twilight. Everything seemed to be so peaceful, it was part of the reason you traveled, and also, so you would be less detected by orcs.

Speaking of orcs, that was how you got captured in the first place. At a young age, orcs invaded your homeland taking you in the process. It was terrible, you were hungry, sick, and just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry. It felt like days, months even, before you finally escaped. From then on you built your way up, and traveled all over the lands searching for a place to call home.

In the distance, you saw a small fire glow and lots of shouting. Quickly, you took your bow and arrow and began to rush forward, hiding behind tree after tree until you could see the clearing.
'Those look like Giants!' You thought as you watched closer seeing a small childlike creature step forward.

'No' you thought. 'Those are trolls.' You wrinkled your nose in disgust as you climbed a tree. Suddenly, there was a battle cry and a young dwarf stepped forward.

'That looks like Thorin..' You thought as you began to fire Arrows at the trolls.

"Lay your weapons down! Or we will tear him apart!" A troll roared as he held up the hobbit. Reluctantly, the dwarves agreed, except you of course, who fired an arrow at the fire causing it to swell.

"Who's there?" A troll spoke as you readied your bow

"Look at you!" A troll spoke wickedly from behind you "aren't you a pretty thing?"

"No please!" You squeaked as they examined you. In front of you, you saw the young dwarf's eyes in recognition.

"Let's cook her first!" The grinned.

"THE DAWN TAKE YOU ALL!" A deep voice shouted as the sunlight peered through and you were thrown high in the air causing you to go many gruesome scratches on your way down to the ground. You landed with a thump in the river causing you to groan and swim to the surface.

"Where is she?" Thorin spoke urgently

"Who?" Another dwarf answered

"There was a girl in the trees and she was caught by the trolls."

"Oh yes, she fell in the river-" the hobbit spoke as Thorin rushed to the river.

There you were sitting on the bank looking at all your gruesome scratches when Thorin approached you.

"Miss?" He spoke softly as you grabbed your weapons in fear. "I'm not going to hurt you I just wanted to make sure you are alright.."

You smiled shyly "Thank you Thorin."

His eyes widened "how is it that you know me?"

"Don't you Remember? Every summer I came to visit. And we would always climb the trees and watch the sunset-"

"Elizabeth?" He whispered in shock

"Tis I Thorin," you grinned.

A big smile came across his face as he launched for a hug as you backed away causing him to frown.

"What's wrong?"

"Not that I don't to hug you or anything, but if you hug me, which you will probably crush me, it's going to make my wounds worse. " you smiled

"Right." He laughed "come on, Gloin can fix you up."

When you got to camp Thorin re United you with the dwarves, who were very happy to see you.

"Lady Elizabeth!" Dwalin smiled "what a pleasure it is to see you again!"

"It's great to see u all." You smiled as Gloin patched you up.

After dinner you sat on a rock watching the stars when you felt Thorin join you.

"So, " he began "what have you been doing all these years?"

You looked down, not wanting to say all of it. "Just been traveling really."

"How is your family?" He asked and at this you welled with tears.

"I would hope they would be in a better place."

"I'm sorry -"

"Don't be, I haven't talked to anyone in years. "

"What happened?" He asked quietly

"I was 18." You began "When our town  was ambushed by orcs, I tried to rescue my mom and sister, but we got separated. I got taken into the Orc caves and lived there for 5 years."

"No." Thorin whispered

"It was horrible, i thought I  would never see the sun, or hear the birds, or feel the wind, but I escaped, and I built my way up, and decided to just keep traveling. "

"I'm sorry, If I had known, I would've come for you-" he began as you put a finger to his lips

"Don't be, it's in the past." You softly smiled "I heard you were going to reclaim Erebor."

"I am indeed."

A comfortable silence passed between them as Thorin sat up "Come with me, come be my queen."

You sat up, shocked "Thorin-" you felt a soft pair of lips on yours as you kissed back.

"Please?" He whispered "I love you. "

"I love you too." You smiled with tears

"Then will you come with me? "

"Yes." You spoke happily as he wrapped strong arms around you.

You were finally home.
