After the lovely party, you decided to get some sleep before it was time to leave early in the morning. You felt a gentle hand rub your shoulder which caused you to flutter your eyes open to see Kili.

"We're leaving in half an hour." He said. "It will give you enough time to get dressed and grab something to eat before we leave."

"Thank you Kili." You mumbled sleepily as he moved towards the door. "I'll be out there in a moment."

You slowly began to sit up and felt the chain of Faye's locket on you. Your eyes widened, and you opened it, hoping she would answer.

"Faye!" You whispered loudly. "Come on I need you! I need answers!"

"I'm here." Faye responded softly. "Is everything alright?"

"I'm fine.... you didn't tell me that you knew my parents! Are they alive? What does Azog want of me? Where even are you?"

Faye sighed before continuing. "I knew your parents. I was friends with your mother and her brother. Your mothers parents only wanted her to marry someone of nobility, but she fell in love with a wizard."

"Are they alive?" You asked impatiently.

"No..." Faye responded sadly. "Azog got to them first, when he discovered that there baby wasn't with them, he killed them with rage. As for you, you have powerful magic. Magic that he could use to bring someone back to life."

"Sauron." You whispered.

"Yes. But so far he has been unsuccessful. He just needs the golden ring, and you." Faye responded.

"How on earth do I even kill him?"

"You destroy them both. Once you have done that, Middle Earth will be saved." Faye said. "A lot will change soon. Be on your guard."

With a flash, she was gone in the locket. You realized the time, and quickly dressed to meet the others.

"Sleep well?" Thorin said as you tried to make your way to the other dwarves.

"Very much thank you." You responded with a grin. "You?"

"Well enough. Listen, I wanted to have a word with you."

You raised your eyebrow in curiosity. "Oh?"

"I want to apologize... for treating you so harshly, you aren't all bad..." Thorin said with a small smile. "I heard you wanted to find news of your family. Have you found any?"

"I have... it's not looking too good I'm afraid." You responded sadly. "It looks like you aren't the only one on Azogs list."

"What do you mean?" He asked. "He died of his wounds in the Battle of Moria."

"He's alive Thorin," you responded quietly. "He's second in command for all the evil that is to come.... and apparently I must save this realm or it will be dammed to evil."

Thorin looked at you with worry. That is a large burden to bear for one person. The news of Azog surprised him,and he will deal with the orc when the time came.

"You certainly won't be saving Middle Earth alone." He spoke while placing an arm on your shoulder. "Come, it's time to go."

The two of you joined the group, and set to go towards the mountain. Soon, you were no longer on the green grass, or bridges towards the river. You were going up the mountain...or what you thought was a mountain.

Kili decided to walk next to his brother behind you, his eyes never leaving you, making sure you wouldn't fall on the slippery rock.

"Are you sure you don't have something on your mind brother?" Fili whispered with a grin.

"She's just my friend. Besides, your supposed to look after your friends aren't we?" Kili deflected his comment with ease.

Fili tolled his eyes in annoyance. He knew his brother was infatuated with you, he was just too blind to see it.

"One of these days, your going to regret that, and she will be snatched up by her Prince Charming." Fili remarked quietly.

The two of them stopped, as they stared up at the thundering sky, and fear filled their faces as the rocks beneath them began to move.

"Bless me the legends are true! Giants! Storm Giants!" Bofur yelled.

The rocks beneath you and Bilbo began to crack, and you found yourself moving against the wall. Kili was about to join you, when the rock split into two. Fear crossed both of your eyes, as some of the group re joined together. Finally, you all made it in the cave, and were able to dry off.

"Let's get some rest." Balin suggested. "We aren't really going to go anywhere because of the storm."

"I don't think its wise." You remarked. "I don't trust this area, who knows what kind of traps are here."

"What can we do? It's storming, and we're likely to die by the giants." Dori interjected.

"We can have people on watch?" Ori suggested, making the pit in your stomach grow larger. The dwarves agreed, and there was nothing you could have done.

It was you and Fili that remained on watch for that evening, and Fili wastes no time in talking.

"So." Fili began casually. "Do you have lots of friends at home? Maybe even a consort?"

You laughed quietly. "No, none of the sort. I've never courted anyone.... I want to save it for someone special."

"Now that your part of the company," Fili began mischievously, "Do you have your eyes on anyone? Perhaps my brother?"

Your cheeks flushed as you gave a quick nod in response. "I don't think I have an option Fili, I just got on your Uncles good side. I don't intend on ruining it. Besides, he probably has someone at home."

You did have slight feelings for Kili. You tried to keep it under wraps, for you didn't want the dwarves to be angry. But there were little things that had drawn you closer to Kili. His sense of humor, how his eyes light up with every joke, and how his eye area crinkled when he smiled. Slowly, the feeling were growing day by day, and you were trying so hard to block it off.

You quickly sat up and felt the rumble of the cave beneath you.

"EVERYBODY UP!" You shouted, causing the dwarves to grab their weapons right before falling into the Goblin cave.

It was overwhelming how many Goblins there were. While on the thin bridge, you got shoved off, and began to fall in the abyss of darkness. But before you could fall into unconsciousness,  you heard the company screaming your name
