The meeting was taking place in Rivendell over the One Ring. Elrond had let his guests sit down as he began to go over the history of the One Ring.
However, the eleven prince was not totally paying attention, for his eyes had focused on a brown shadow coming behind Lord Elrond. It was a beautiful brown wolf, and he couldn't seem to take his eyes off of it.

It's beautiful. He thought as he didn't know what the gender was.

"Ah I see you've met my daughter Y/N" Elrond smiled as he noticed Legolas's stare. "Well since you are already out here Y/N you might as well come out."

You stepped a bit behind Elronds chair as you transformed into your gorgeous self and came out with a shy smile.

"Hi. My name is Y/N. you've probably noticed that I'm a skin changer." You laughed awkwardly

Legolas's jaw dropped. He had never seen such beauty in his whole entire life. Quickly, he averted your gaze and looked at his hands, feeling foolish for staring At you so long.

"Y/N. sit next to Legolas, there is an open spot." Elrond smirked as Legolas's eyes widened. Whether Elrond was teasing him about it or secretly hoping they got together we shall never know.

"Hi." You whispered as you hid behind your hair.

The meeting continued, and an argument broke out and ended with Frodo declaring that he would take the ring.

"I will follow you. You have my protection." You knelt in front of the young hobbit with a smile.

"And you have my bow." Legolas quickly stood up.

"And my axe!" Gimli held up his axe proudly.

After the meeting, you and the prince walked around talking about everything and anything, and you were slowly but surely falling in love with him.

"Legolas may I speak with you?" Elrond asked as you gave him the Dad-ur-embarrassing-me-staph- look.

"Of course my Lord." Legolas walks with Elrond.

Once they were out of earshot, you transformed into a butterfly and watched secretly.

"I have seen that you will fall in love with my daughter and I want to know your intentions." Elromd spoke with his arms crossed.

"To love her until the end of my days, and love her until death due us part." Legolas spoke as Elronds grin grew.

"Then I give you permission to court my daughter over the journey. I expect you to protect her at all costs, and if you make it out alive, you may marry my daughter."

Well , you thought. This was certainly an unexpected day indeed. ❤️
