You woke up, and felt a warm liquid on the back of your head. Luckily, there wasn't too much damage. You pulled out a small potion out of your boot that Faye had given to you, and took a sip, for that was all you needed.

Your breath hitched in your throat as you noticed the complete darkness. However, your locket was glowing just bright enough that you could see your way. It was slow, and treacherous, for you knew who you would meet.

"Oh my god I hate it." You whispered. "I hate it I hate it-"

"You hate what?" A familiar nasal voice asked. Quickly, you put the locket in your boot before he could see.

"Nothing really." You lied. "I just don't like how dark it is. Who are you?"

"Gollum! Gollum!" He said causing you to cringe. "Who are you?"

"I'm Y/N-"

"An elfses  we don't get much of those down here." He said. "Why are you here Elfses?"

"Just heading home." You said nervously, looking for the ring.

"What are you looking for?" He asked. "If your looking for a way out... I can show you for a price." He grinned a toothy grin towards you.

"How about a deal?" You suggested. "If I guess all three of your riddles, you show me the way out. If I don't-" you pull out a ruby from your pocket that you got from the troll cave. "You can have this. Seems fair?"

Gollum nodded eagerly and you felt your heart speed up. You were not good with riddles, and there was the possibility that you could die down here of cannibalism..... which did happen to Frodo's finger at one point.

"Ready?" He asked with a grin. You nodded, trying to remember the riddles from the book.

"The more there is, the less you see. What am I?"

You internally panicked. This isn't from the book! This is a completely new riddle!"

"Well?" Gollum asked impatiently. "What's your answer."

Your hands trembled, and finally, you came up with an answer. "Darkness."

Gollum nodded. "Correct precious. What breaks, but never falls, and what falls but never breaks?"

Your palms began to sweat with nervousness. This was far out of your knowledge. You prayed that somehow, the answer would be given. It was as if Faye was in your ear, for you heard the answer like a whisper in the wind.

"Day and night." You responded, the smile off of Gollum's face falling. "Cheer up, you have one more."

He gave a wicked grin, before giving his last riddle. "What can't be burned in the fire nor drowned in the water?"

What kind of question is that? You thought. However, you remembered a show where there was ice floating in the water. You grinned at Gollum, and said "ice floats in water, and melts with fire."

Gollum screamed with defeat, and began the wither around. He began to mess with This caused a boulder to crack, and fall, knocking Gollum on his back. The ring scattered from his pocket right towards you. He screamed in rage as you quickly picked up the ring. As you picked it up, he was able to lift the boulder off him, and run towards you. Being prepared for the outcome, you placed the ring on your finger, and stepped to the side.

"WHERE ARE YOU PRECIOUS!" He screamed in anger, and then he begs to chastise himself. "MUSNT MAKE A DEAL WITH ELFSES! GOLLUM! GOLLUM!"

You began to make your way around to the opening that was hidden behind him. However, he picked up an old rusty blade, and swinged it wildly in a hole to kill you. With your quick reflexes, you pulled out your sword to use as a defense for he was aiming awfully close. He was surprised when your swords met with a clang, and he started to swing ever closer to your head. During this time, he had cornered you against a wall, and there were only so many chances that he would have before he pierced your heart. You drove your sword into his chest, and Gollum fell to his knees in shock. Quickly, you pulled out the sword and made your way into the light.

When you made it outside, you could see the dwarves down the hill, so you decided to take off the ring and surprise them.

"Thank goodness we made it out." Ori said with relief.

"We should have saved her." Fili remarked quietly, and Kili nodded silently in agreement.

"Who says I need any saving?" You spoke causing the dwarves to turn wide eyed to face you.

"Y/N!"

"Your alive???!!"

"It is a miracle." Balin remarked as the dwarves cheered. You were soon enveloped in hugs from all the dwarves. The last to give you a hug was Kili, and he hugged you the tightest.

"I thought you were dead." He said, his voice a bit unsteady.

"It's going to take a lot more than falling off of a bridge to kill me." You joked.

"How on earth did you survive?" Gandalf asked curiously. "From what the dwarves told me, it was a large fall."

" I was lucky, but I almost died again from a different creature." You said.

"A goblin?" Nori asked.

"No, it wasn't a goblin, it was far more human like and was very deranged-" you began, but heard the howl of wargs.

"Into the fire." Thorin mumbled.

"And into the frying pan." You finished. "RUN!"

The company ran from the orcs and wargs and found themselves at the edge of a cliff.

"Now would be a good time to have my powers." You mumbled.

With your agile body, you leaked into the tree to help the rest get to safety. An icy feeling spread through your body as you saw the pale orc on his white warg.

(Ok so brief authors note I don't know the language orcs so I'm using the middle earth translator to help me out. That's all, enjoy!)

"Look at the pathetic dwarves that hang from the trees. Their death is inevitable, especially for the one who calls himself king." Azog spoke while looking at Thorin.

You were in a panic, if something wasn't done, the company would die. You felt the rising power within you grow, and you held out your palms in front of you.

"Y/N, what are you doing?" Bilbo asked.

light emitted from your palm in the form of a small flame. You grinned with pride as the controlled flame grew larger. The dwarves stared in awe as you threw the flame at the wargs. With a flick of your wrist, the flame divided itself into many pieces and pursued the frightened wargs. It was now you, versus Azog.

When you jumped down from the tree, the dwarves shouted in protest. You were soon joined by Thorin, and he gave you a nod as to say, "Together til the end."

"Who are you?" Azog asked as he slowly began to approach the two of you. "I know Thorin Oakenshield, but I have never dealt with such an elf."

"I'm surprised you haven't recognized me." You laughed bitterly. "I'm the daughter of Annalise. Princess of Imaldris, and the baby you tried to kill many years ago." You finished.

Shock was all over his face, until a large grin spread across his features. He took out a black instrument, and blew a loud horn. The once dead wargs had indeed risen and were growling ferociously.

The hell is this? You thought in disbelief. At this point, the dwarves had rallied, and were fighting the wargs.

You saw Azog knock Thorin over with his large metal club, and his warg picked up the unconscious Thorin.

"HEY!" You yelled while taking out your sword. "PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!"

Azog smirked, and stepped off his Warg, and the fear was evident in your eyes.

"Is that a challenge elf?" He spoke.

Immediately, the battle begun, and he swung his club towards your head. Luckily, you dodged, and used your power to burn his chest. He let out a roar before knocking you over.

I can't die today. I won't die today. You said bravely as Azog lifted you up with his one hand.

"What do you have to say for yourself?"

You pulled out your dagger, and made a slash against his face, close to where his eye was. To make him drop you, you burned his hand. Luckily, the eagle came and scooped you into the sky, but not before noticing that a certain ring was on your necklace.
