Imagine going shopping with Thrandy for a party. You can't find a proper dress and he admits his feelings for you.
I will be using her name but feel free to just place yourselves in her place
Erulasse and Thrandy were best friends. Or so she thought. Thrandy was head over heels with.her and she had no clue. He had dropped hints but she was often shy,
"I need help finding a dress for your party tonight."
"Are you still going with James?" Thranduil asked hoping it was a no.
"Yes." She smiled as Thranduil hid his disappointment.
"Well let's get started!"
After several hours Erulasse couldn't find the perfect dress.
"Here try this." Thranduil handed her a gown as she nodded and tried it on. (Media) she tried it on as Thranduils mouth went slack.
"W-what?" She stammered
"You look beautiful..." He whispered as she blushed
"You think James will like it?"
He hid his sadness with a smile "of course."
That night at the ball Erulasse showed up and waited for almost a half hour before looking around nervously.
"Looking for James?" Thranduil asked softly
"There he is." She whispered tears in her eyes. He was drinking and had a arm around someone else's waist. "I'm just gonna go."
"No! Wait!" Thranduil grabbed her arm as he bit his lip.
"What is it?" She asked facing him
"I'm in love with you."
"What?"
"I'm in love with you." He repeated blushing "and if James can't see how great you are I can. Erulasse your smart, kind, funny and drop dead gorgeous'! What's not to like?" He promoted as she blushed
"Will you go out with me?"
