you put on your long sleeved shirt and skirt with tights and boots as you sneaked out of your parents house. They didn't care for you anymore which seemed impossible to believe. Quickly, you mounted your horse and left before they could see you.

For hours, you rode on end to the place that was your second home, Mirkwood. Your best friend was there, and if anyone could protect you from your past it was Legolas. The scenery changed as you passed through a meadow (Beorn meadow) and entered the back of Mirkwood.

The journey continued until you finally got lost in the maze. Not only were you lost, but you had been lost for hours.

Shouts were heard a little ways a way and you ran through with your weapon to find a bunch of elves and dwarves.

"Who are you?" An elf asked.

"I am a friend of Legolas's. My name is Y/N." You spoke confidently

As soon as Legolas heard your voice he walked over with a smile.

"Y/N!" He greeted as he hugged you while you stiffened "what's wrong?"

"N-nothing." You stuttered as Legolas rolled his eyes

"It's not nothing. What is it?" He persisted causing your eyes to well with tears.

"Not here okay? We're kind of in the forest..." you mumbled as Legolas nodded.

Finally, the dwarves were taken to the prison while Legolas stood wit you in a corner.

"What happened? Are you hurt?" He spoke worriedly as he tried to examine you.

The tears couldn't be held back anymore as you wailed in sadness.

"My-my parents.... they d-don't..." you stuttered in between sobs as Legolas pulled you in a hug completely understanding. He had to be strong for your emotional state but he was downright furious. How dare they hurt one of the most innocent and wonderful girls out there????

"YN?" Legolas asked after awhile you had stopped crying.

"Yes?" You croaked

"I want you to live at the palace. By my side. I don't want you to be alone anymore. " He spoke firmly.

The biggest smile came on your face as you hugged him tightly and finally leaning in to kiss him on the cheek, but instead he captured your lips instead sending you into shock.

"Gotcha." He whispered.

You laughed. "So you have Legolas. So you have."

And so from that day forward, you were inseparable, everything was perfect and you couldn't ask for anything more.
