Imagine your BF breaks up with you so Ori confesses his love (fluff lots of fluff AND A HUGE PLOT TWIST 😂😂😂)

For years, You and Ori had been best friends. You had read together, drew together, and became inseparable since day one. He had a crush on you for so long, but he was so shy and didn't want to ruin some amazing friendship. Of course, you had been practically throwing every sign at him to court you, so you decided to take matters in your own hands.

"Ori?" You asked him one day as you sat in the library reading.

"Hmnn?"  He asked not looking up from his book.

"What do you think of Nori?" You questioned casually.

"What about him? He's my brother."

"Well...." you hesitated as your cheeks went pink.

He finally looked up and noticed your nervous state and rosy cheeks.

"Did something happen? Did he hurt you-"

"No!" You quickly finished as he sighed in relief.  "Nothing like that. I was wondering what you thought of me and your brother.... together?"

Awkward. Ori felt very awkward. And heartbroken.

"T-that's great!" He stuttered as he tried to remain calm.  Why did Nori always get the girls?

"Your not upset? You don't mind?" You asked trying to make sure he was okay.

"N-no! You should be happy! You deserve to be happy!"

You grinned as best you could. "Thanks Ori."

48 hours earlier.

Y/N knocked on Nori's door as he opened with a surprised look.

"Umm... Are you at the wrong door? Your usually with my brother..."  he asked awkwardly.

"Er yes well I've come to ask for a favor actually. " you spoke as his shoulders sagged with relief. No awkwardness here, or so he thought.

"Which is?" He smirked "need some help with my brother right?"

You nodded, blushing as red as a tomato.  "So will you help me?"

"Of course! You know how thrilled Dori will be to plan your wedding." Nori teased as you laughed along.

"So what's the plan?"

Present.

You sat by your window as you waited for Nori to escort you to dinner. Dori had just finished a delicious meal and had called you, Nori, and the rest of the dwarves to dinner.

"Knock knock." He smirked as he handed you a flower.  "Ready to go?"

You quickly grasped hands as you nodded nervously.

"Relax. Everything is gonna be fine." He whispered giving a light squeeze in the hand as you came closer to the dining hall.

"Where are Y/N and Nori?" Dori wondered as you came into view. (Your still far off that you have to walk to the table. It's a big dining room.)

His mouth fell slack as he stared at your hands in utter shock. He couldn't comprehend it, neither could the rest of the dwarves.

"How did this happen?" He whispered. "He looks so well behaved."

"I did not see this coming."

"This is a prank right?"

You finally made it to the table as everyone smiled.

"What's going on?" Dori finally asked as you two sat down.

"Don't you know brother? We're courting!" Nori beamed as he held up your hands.

There was an an applause as all the dwarves congratulated him on finding a girlfriend. Ori smiled tightly as he excused himself. Nori turned to you as you smiled as best you could.

"It'll be over soon, and you'll be together." He whispered as you nodded.

A week past, and you and Nori would pass by Ori at every chance he could until you decided no progress was being made. If he wasn't gonna fight for you, you would just have to be over dramatic.

"Ready?" Nori asked as you two spotted Ori sitting in the fields by himself.

"Let the final phase begin." You spoke as you stepped forward bawling in utter sadness.

Ori's eyes quickly went to you as you sat by him in your dirty and torn dress, and your tear stained cheeks.

"What happened?"  He called as you hugged him tightly.

"Nori and I broke up. " you wailed as he huffed and held you tighter. 

"I'm so sorry." He spoke shakily. Here goes nothing. "I should have been there, I should have been the one to ask you out first not him. I am the one that loves you-"

You grinned "you love me?"

He paled as he nodded nervously. You signed in relief. "THANK THE LORD. "

"Wait you feel the same way?" He asked with a grin.

"Of course! Why do you think I've been giving you so many hints?why do you think I went out with Nori?"

Ori's mouth made an O shape as you laughed.

"So this was all to get me jealous and to court you?" He asked with a smirk.

"Dont you forget it." Nori popped from behind. "I make an excellent fake consort do I not?" He smirked .

Ori laughed as he hugged his brother. "Thank you. Shall we tell the others?"

You laughed as you pulled him up."Let's."

You made your way back to the dining hall hand in hand as people start to clap for you guys.

"I KNEW IT!" Kili yelled "I knew it was a prank!"

"Oh yes!" Dori said with glee. "I much perfer you with Ori anyway."

Nori's mouth dropped open in fake hurt. "I was the perfect fake consort thank you very much! "

You said your congratulations as you made your way over to Dori who was grinning happily.

"So." He asked casually. "When can I start planning the wedding?"

"Oh relax mother goose!" Dori smacked Nori's head with some paper. "What? They literally just got together!"

Wedding day

Nori stood next to Ori with a glass as he began to finish his speech. 

"And that's how they met, by the help of Y/N's genius thinking and my expert fake consort skills. And I wish them the best of luck, because that's exactly what they deserve, to be happy til the end of their days. TO Y/N AND ORI!"
