The war was over, the ring finally destroyed, and all was well. Everyone gathered at the Coronation ceremony where Aragorn was to be king. Luckily, Legolas had a few minutes to spare and he wanted to introduce a couple people to each other.
"Gimli!" Legolas called out as the stubborn dwarf brightened at his friend.
"Hello laddie, excited for the coronation?" He asked as Legolas nodded.
"Of course, but I want to introduce you to my friend Tauriel."
"Did someone say my name?" A reddish haired silvan elf appeared. Legolas smiles.
"Hello Tauriel, meet Gimli. Gimli, Tauriel."
"It's so very nice to meet you!" She smiled and shook his hand. "How did you two meet?"
"Well-" Legolas and Gimli spoke at the same time as Tauriels grin widened.
This was the start to a beautiful golden trio.
