Chapter 16

Fresh air blows around me, as I walk through the forest.

Wisps of mist swirl around the trees, and birds chirp quietly and hesitant.

Rain drops into my hair, pressing against my skull.

Wind whips at my face, making my cheeks feel raw.

My finger tips are freezing, even though I've buried them deep within the pockets of my leather jacket.

Twigs snap sharply beneath my boots as I walk.

"Cold, can be nice, but also HORRIBLE!"

I mutter darkly to myself as I march along through the forest.

After some time, I forget to keep track of where I'm going.

I just get completely lost in my thoughts, and when I do come to realize where I am, I'm standing in a clearing.

It's only a little clearing, with a little crystal clear pond at the middle of it.

Next to the pond, is a Bed sized slab of flat rock.

Water trickles into the pond from under the rock, and water lilies grow next to it.

All in all, the place is picture perfect. accept for the constant pelting rain, that is.

I sigh and decide to go back. I'm completely wet AGAIN.

As soon as it's sunny again though, I'm going to come back here. It's the perfect place to come too, to get away from everybody else.

I turn away from the clearing, and begin to find my way back to camp.

The cabin door opens with a slight creak, and I flinch.

It's eleven o'clock something at night, and I know that the girls are a sleep all ready.

It took me three whole hours to get back to camp. Just great.... Not.

I pull my clingy wet clothes off, and climb into bed.

Suddenly I feel something sticky on my bed sheets.

What....

"Eeeeeks!"

I scream, and jump out of bed.

Clicking my lamp on, I stare at my bed sheets.

Ace Fricking Hunter!

My bed sheets are COVERED in honey.

How Ace got by my girls, I don't know.

But I do know that I want revenge.

And it's going to be BAD!!!
