Vanesa's Pov.
It's a lot colder here in the forest, further away from the campfire.
Like, freezing!!!
Hugging myself, I carefully shine my phones flashlight along the forest floor.
I don't know why I haven't went back to camp.
Maybe I just want a bit of silence....
Or you're hoping to run into Ace out here.
My bloody little voice whispers. Everybody's got a little voice in their head, that makes fun of them, surely.
I shake my head.
No, I'm not. I really am not.
For the next minutes, I walk silently, my evil voice having mercifully come to an end.
Suddenly I hear something.
Instantly, I cover my phone's light.
It doesn't sound like a person though, it sounds like.... Water. Trickling, splashing, water.
I pull my hand away from my phone and carefully follow the sound.
A clearing comes into view.
It's alot smaller than the one we all are camping on, and right through the middle runs a sweet little stream.
Right in the center of the clearing, next to the stream, lies a big flat slab of rock, the size of two single beds, but round.
And on that rock sits a shadow.
The shadow of a human, it's legs pulled up to the chest, and for some reason it keeps on convulsing.
Or that's what it looks like.
Until I hear the sobbing.
I just stare at it for a moment.
Then I rais my phone and shine the light directly at the person.
Leather jacket, army trousers, combat boots, black hair.
The face turns to me and startling grey eyes pierce mine.
Ace.
We just stare at one and other for what feels like years, until he sneers,
"What. Come to gloat?"
I shake my head and slowly walk over to him.
He watches me suspiciously.
Why am I doing this?
Why am going over there with the intention to comfort the one guy who really dislikes me.
He doesn't deserve my time and I know this can't possibly end well.
But still I cross over the clearing, and approach the rock.

Sorry this took so long! My life's been a mess lately, but I'm ill today and lying in bed.
So I'll probably update another chapter. I hope you in joy!!!!
