hey noa. today in school, we were talking about job prospects. and so, i'm sort of... scared. i guess that's a fair way of putting it.
"why?"
everyone around me knows what they want to be. doctor. author. even that kid who never talked in class had said that she wants to be an actress. but all i'm doing right now is watching other people dreaming and chasing. it makes me feel... uncertain.
"there must be something that you want to do"
well, you know. when i was young, my mom gave me an 'alice in wonderland' picture book. and i fell in love with it. and i started to like my name. so when i was young, i wanted to be an illustrator. drawing pictures.
"what's wrong with becoming an illustrator?"
nothing. noa, i can't draw.
"hahahaha"
it isn't funny... what do you want to be then, noa.
"i wanna stay being noa.noa, the lost boy"
