... Is a joint custody. Which means Miss Friar will be with her father during the school weeks and she will be spending half of the holidays with her mother. Thank you all for coming." the Judge said. A breath of relieve escaped Maya's lips. Lucas was in a daze, he wasn't going to loose his daughter. 

The couple hugged and hugged their little girl. "You can stay with us most of the time!" Lucas told Olivia. The little girl hugged her father a little tighter and Maya had joined them again with Connor in her hands. "Our little family" he told Maya as he kissed the top of her head.

A week later

"So how did you sleep?" Maya asked Olivia as she skipped down the stairs. "Amazing!" she told Maya. She ran in her arms. "Where's Daddy?" Liv asked. " Getting something from the store. Are you hungry?" Maya asked the curly blonde. 

After she made breakfast for Olivia and Maya was cleaning everything up, Lucas came home. "Daddy!" The little girl screamed as she jumped in his arms. "Hey sweetheart how are ya?" He asked as he adjusted her in his arms. She smiled and told him she was great. He told Olivia to go play with her toys, so he could talk with Maya. The blonde skipped towards her dollhouse. 

"You'll never believe how I saw in town." He told Maya, who put the plates in the cupboard. "Who?" She asked after she closed the cabinet. "Josh," After the name was said, Maya froze. "D-did he say anything?" Maya asked Lucas who walked closer towards Maya. "I don't think he saw me." He told her. Lucas took Maya's hands in his. 

"What's wrong?" Maya blinked and looked in his eyes before answering. "I just want to know why he's here." She explained. "Well he mi-" Before Lucas could finish his sentence Connor started crying. "We'll talk later, I'm going on a walk with the kids. Wanna come?" He asked Maya. "I think I'm just going to stay in and clean the house.He kissed the top of her head and got their children ready. 

A small hour after Lucas had left, the bell rang. Maya thought it was Lucas, that forgot his keys or something. She opened the door without thinking and there he stood. Josh, the last person she wanted to see. "Maya, long time no see." His words laced with a certain disgust. "Indeed it is, may I ask why you're here?" She asked the brunnet guy. "I wanted to clear up some things. May I come in?" He asked Maya, she sighed before stepping aside and gesturing for him to come inside.

 She hated herself for this. For letting Josh, her ex-fiancée in her house without anybody else being home. As she led him towards the kitchen he took notice of all the pictures. He knew that Maya and Lucas had a child together. A son but he couldn't remember the name. He thought back of the time he was invited for Auggie's birthday dinner and a picture of Olivia and the new baby stood proudly on the mantel of the fireplace at Cory and Topanga's apartment. 

"Do you want something to drink?" Maya asked him, snapping him out of his thoughts. "No thank you," He replied. "Suit yourself" Maya said under her breath. "What's his name again?" Josh asked Maya pointing at a picture of her son. "Connor," She replied "Josh, why are you here?" She asked breaking the silence. "I want the complete truth, I can't do anything to you. It's not like we're still engaged. It seems like you got over us pretty fast." He told her eyeing the ring on her slim finger. 

"It's been almost two years, what do you expect me to do. Sit around, crying over someone that only loved me, when he had the time for it?" She suddenly snapped at him. This took him by surprise. He knew Maya had a temper but he didn't expect for the fire to be lit so soon.
