2 nights later

"Hey what are you doing here?" He asked sitting down next to her. His voice made her snap out of her thoughts. She smiled up at him. He sat down next to her at the window. 

"Just thinking about everything. Aren't you supposed to be sleeping?" Maya asked leaning her back on the frame. "I could ask you the same question besides I am not the pregnant one. " Lucas said looking at her face that glowed because the way the moonlight that fell into the room and casted a glow on her face making her appear like she was an angel. 

"Can't sleep anyway, you have classes tomorrow and I have to work on somethings." She said as she stared up at the midnight sky filled with an uncountable amount of twinkling stars. "Right, so you want me to leave?"Lucas said getting up, "I get it." 

Before he could leave a hand reached for his arm without taking her eyes of the sky as she grasped his arm in a tight grasp. "Don't leave just yet, " She spoke softly "I want to enjoy the little moments before we have the baby." She finally met his burning gaze.

"What?" She asked with a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "You are such an amazing person, do you realize that?" He said sitting back down next to her. "Amazing?" Maya scoffed "I am far from amazing, I have flaws bigger than Riley's dreams for ending malaria and opening a bunny farm. It is a miracle someone like you would want to be with someone like me, let alone having a child with me." Maya said while she picked at her freshly manicured nails.

"Okay you seriously have to stop looking at yourself that way. Your flaws make you a human and don't even come up with that stuff that you are not worth living with. You are one of the most incredibly funny and beautiful person I have ever met and I am glad I can spend the rest of my life with you. Don't you ever forget that." Lucas said kissing the top of her head. " And I can't wait to have this baby with you." 

She leaned her head on his chest as she let her head follow the rhythm of his chest rising and falling. "I love you, " She said as she traced her fingers along his face. "Lucas huckleberry Friar and I can't wait to meet our little huckleberry."Maya said as she kissed his soft lips. "I. Love. You. Too. Maya. Pancakes. Hart" He spoke between kisses. "But why are you so sure it's a little boy though?" He asked the pregnant girl beside him.

She chuckled and placed a hand on her still not visible belly. "Mothers intuition, I guess" He kissed her sweet lips once again and they sat there talking about what life would be like with a new baby. She always dreamed of having a family with someone that truly cared about her and loved her with or without flaws. 

Maya watched Lucas talking. She couldn't believe she got so lucky with him. He moved closer to her face making her snap out of her thoughts. "Staring is impolite, Short stack" He said trying to contain his laughter. "Running out of lines, boy?" She said shaking her head. She got up and walked to the bedroom swinging her hips in a way only she could.
