"Care to explain now?" Amy asked me as she rose one of her eyebrows. She flipped her brunette locks to the side as her blue eyes intensely gazed at me.
"Why do I have to explain myself first? Why can't it be Thea or Kathy or you?" I tried to reason out with her but of course my best friend is as stubborn as hell.
"Cause you came into my house uninvited. Now shut the hell up and tell me the story." I grumbled under my breath before a smile made its way into my face.
"Well, when I was just lazily chilling in my home, I saw the flier from the coffee shop we went to a couple days ago and thought, why don't I get a job? Cause I can't always depend on the money my parents send me. So I went around town and searched for places or easy jobs at this case, that I can apply for.
I ended up going around town 7 times just to find a fudging shop that would take a 19 year old without a college degree for a job in the summer. But at last, I finally found a shop and it was the same shop we went days ago." They were all staring at me. Awaiting my next words.
"There, I met a middle aged man named John who immediately hired me since they were needing a new waiter or waitress as soon as possible. At the job interview with all professional or older people made me intimidated. It made me uncomfortable for some reason and speechless. And, I always stutter. I'm always like that with other people."
"But did you get the job?" I nodded my head.
"Now that I told my story, who's next?" I asked. Before Kathy sighed and grabbed all our attention. I'm guessing she wants to talk about her problem now.
"I went to the mall to go shop, obviously. When I have free time, I always go to the mall. Either to eat and mostly shop." She stopped before looking directly at me and Amy scanning our faces of resemblance to the person or thing she seems to be looking for.
"Do you know Andrea Woods?" Something might have snapped in Thea's mind, cause her reaction to that statement was to snap her fingers and her eyes get big as if she knew this person Kathy was speaking off.
"Andrea, Andrea Woods? Yeah I know her. Green eyes and ginger hair. She's a girl from your batch. You always talk about her and how you two became friends. I have this bad feeling towards her when her mere name escaped from your mouth." Thea spat as she shivered.
"You were right from the very start. I should've listened to you, Thea. I told her about my crush an-" Amy held out her hand signalling Kathy to stop talking. Her eyes getting big and biting her lip looking at Kathy with intense eyes.
"Wait up, you had a crush and you didn't tell us. I'm your sister Kathy. And I don't like you getting all flirty in all with a guy. I swear, you're the youngest but you're gonna get a boyfriend before me and your sister." Amy ranted but Kathy just rolled her eyes.
"Amy, I'm a 17 year old girl and I have the right to have a boyfriend." Amy wagged her finger in front of Kathy.
"Not until you're 18 miss. Besides, I don't want to see you making out with someone in our couch. This is a sacred couch cause its mine. Its made for sitting not other 'stuff'. This couch is still a virgin." Kathy returned by glaring at her sister once again and continuing her story.
"You do know Ben Park? Benjamin Park?" Thea rose her eyebrow.
"The guy from my class? The guy on where the girls will swoon over him and cling onto him like he's the last hope for their blasted lives." Thea paused and rolled her eyes.
"Yes. Yes I know Ben." She finally finished. Kathy scoffed and punched her sister on the shoulder which Thea yelped.
"Well, Thea. Your dear sister is one of the people who likes him." Kathy spat out as of she's a snake and Thea's a rat. Thea flinched slightly at her sister's words but chose not to show it.
"Well, going back to the story. I told Andrea about Ben and she even offered to help me. Ben would always ask Andrea to borrow a pencil or a pen, but she would always say she doesn't have but I do. But I knew she always had. So I put my trust in her."
"Then, when I went to the mall today. I was just walking around when I spotted both of them holding hands. After a while, they both stopped walking and they kissed."
"She tried contacting me a while ago but I never answered her calls. I was really mad and I needed to calm down so I contacted Dylan. Then we hung out at Starbucks."
"Lil sis. I'm just stating my opinion here, but you may have been overreacting. What if it was a dare or she's sad that cause him to kiss her."
"Thea, you're the best sister I could ever have but I never asked for your opinion, sweetheart." Thea grumbled and stuffed chips onto her face.
"Yeah, and if she was sad, Ben could've just hugged or talked to her or something. That man is perverted as hell if he got a kiss out of her being sad." Amy shivered at the thought. I slapped her upside her head as she yelped in pain.
"Amy, get your mind out of the gutter. They're still innocent." I scolded her. Amy cackled loudly as she pointed at her sisters in disbelief.
"Them? Not innocent? That's the best joke you've ever made Chloe." I know now why they're no longer innocent. Having a sister or friend for that matter like Amy, you would lose your innocence just by looking at her.
"Well, if you're so confident about proving your point, then why don't you tell as your part of the story?" I gave her a smirk as she growled under her breath. She sighed as she shifted her seat trying to find a comfortable position.
"Well, you know about the party so I don't need to talk about that. Well, I was having fun in the party with some of my friends from the volleyball team. We were all laughing and chatting with one another. We got along well since we were a team after all. But what I didn't know was, this party
