A Love Worth Waiting For: Chapter 32- A Surprise
Kyle's POV
After Chloe told our childhood story. Everyone went to their separate classes. I had History with Nathan, so I am now walking with him. I still couldn't get the scene out if my mind. Every time I would think of her, my cheeks would become flustered. What's happening to me?
"Dude? You alright?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine" I stuttered drinking from my water bottle. Unlike the other boys I'm close with, I'm more closer to him. He's my best friend. He was always there when I need him.
"Out of curiosity, how did you and Chloe meet?" I asked looking at my blonde friend. His blue eyes soon focused on me.
"Well, I hated her and she hated me. We we're both enemies until I took a liking into her. Weird right? Until we both had feelings for each other, then it just escalated. Our hatred soon turned to the opposite of it" he explained as he shrugged.
"I just got informed that you and Chloe got detention on the first week of classes. Never knew you we're a bad boy Kyle!" He playfully pushed me.
"What happened anyway?"
"Well...."
*flashback start*
Chloe and I went outside going to the bleachers to just hang out. Since we never did that anymore.
"I never did that!" She laughed
"You did!" I denied her with a smirk forming on my lips.
"Come on! I never said you we're cute!" I saw a hint of blush though it quickly faded away. She then playfully punched me in the shoulder.
"Hey!" A guy from the court who just finished training waved to us. Who is this guy? Don't blame me, I am a newbie after all.
He then approached us as he sat beside me and Chloe.
"H-hey..." Chloe shyly waved to him. Cute!
"I'm Jasper, nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Chloe" she replied shyly.
"Kyle" I looked at him coldly.
"Never seen you around here Chloe, are you new?" He asked, his eyes focusing on the blonde girl next to me.
"Y-yeah, me and Kyle are n-new." she stuttered
We then heard a whistle blew. Signalling Jasper's head focusing on our gym teacher.
"See you around Chloe and Kyle!" He waved goodbye.
"Though, I suggest you stay away from Alex. He's kinda flirty." He flashed a smile as he ran up to the rest of the boys.

We've been staying up here in the bleachers looking down on the group of boys who are playing.
After the gym teacher blew his whistle, the boys started to scatter everywhere in the court.
Until a brunette came up in the bleachers. He sat next to Chloe and smirked.
"Hey Chloe~" he cooed
"How do you know her name?"
"A little birdie told me"
Chloe elbowed the brunette as she glared at him and them looked at me.
