I passed by the chattering students in the hallways. I wore my hood to shield my eyes from the other students. Avoiding their glares and whispers.

I headed to my locker and entered its code. I grabbed my books as I placed my bag inside the locker. I closed it as the bell chimes through out the hallways. Lockers closed shut followed by the footsteps of students going inside their respective homeroom. As I passed through the hallways, the walls decorated by the prom posters students seem to be crowded upon on.

I entered my homeroom as I sat down in my respective seat. Face planted myself on my desk. I took down my hood and tucked my hair behind my ear, so that it will no longer cover my face. However I had the wrong idea. My eyes landed on Kyle's.

I went back to face plant I ng myself as I groaned.

Still the same day...

It's finally lunch. I grabbed my lunchbox and headed to my table. Marco is the usual person to eat with me. I took a bite of my sandwich observing the laughs and squeals of the girls from the other tables. Soon a group approached me as they all have apologetic faces.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked taking another bite of my sandwich.

"We're here to apologize..." Amy looked down as well as the others behind her.

"We're really sorry for ignoring you." Kira softly smiled. While the others just nod.

"Hold on, where's Matthew, Thea and Kyle?"

"Well, Matthew and Thea... changed. They no longer eat with us nor talk to us." Adrian looked down.

"Oh..." it just escaped my lips.

"We're thinking it's Kyle's doing..." Xander just rubbed his shoulder.

"And I suppose you know where my best friend is." Nathan just smiled.

"Yeah... you have a point..." I chuckled a bit.

"May we eat with you?" Kathy piped up.

"Oh... sure!" I moved aside to have space for the group.

"So, Chloe. How have you been?" Addison looked at me waiting for my response.

"I've been... depressed. Truth be told." I replied making the aura around me darken. They just lowered their head in shame.

"We're really sorry for causing you this trauma or this internal pain. We're really sorry." Nathan, who was beside me hugged me.

"I... understand." I hugged him back.

"So... do you guys have your date?"

"Eh... I still don't have..." Amy replied twirling her fork on her pasta and inserting it in her mouth.

"I'm still open..." Kira replied while inserting the spoon inside her mouth.

I glanced at boys. Them responding with a shake. Except two familiar brunettes who had flushed faces.

"How about you Kathy? Do you have a date?" I asked looking at her with a grin.

"Y-yes..." she replied barely a whisper.

"Who's the lucky guy?" Amy asked wiggling her eyebrows while glancing at Kathy.

"Joshua..." she lowered her head to refrain us from seeing her crimson face. Our gaze soon directed to the spoken male whom was playing with his fingers.
