A Love Worth Waiting For: Chapter 50- A New Beginning [Finale]

***

My heart sank as tears formed in my eyes. They're divorce? Why?

"Why?"

"I don't know. But I want to see mom. She's very broken and depressed right now."

"I want to see her too." I replied.

"I wanna see her..." Alina sobbed into my chest.

"Please Alexa... I wanna see mom." They pleaded. Its been many years since I last saw her. I just closed my eyes as my sisters hugged me tight.

I hugged them back as I separated. I headed under my bed and pulled out a box. There was my life savings. I counted the money all together.

"Let's go see mom." I replied to them as their faces lit up.

"Really? But where will we get the plane tickets?" Alina asked.

"I have enough money to buy us flight tickets." I replied showing them the box.

"When do we leave?"

"When I get the schedule." I replied as I sat down on my bed.

"Let's just get a good night rest. Hopefully." I hugged my sisters goodnight as I went into a deep slumber.

I had a good late night sleep but I didn't dream at all. After we ate breakfast I told them that I'll be going to the agency to book us flight tickets. I grabbed the passports of my sisters  and I and stuffed them inside my purse.

I grabbed my purse and called a cab.

I opened the door. The agency was really hectic. Filled with people. Buzzing with noise. A few minutes came by and I was in the front of the line.

"Hello! How may I help you with today?" Her pitchy voice piped up.

"Um.. could you please book us some flight tickets here." I kindly ordered as I pointed at our destination.

"What plane is the most recent cause I'm kinda in a hurry." I added.

"That plane leaves in about 2 days.  Will that be enough for you?" She asked.

"Could you also please renew our passports?" I asked handing her the passports.

"Sure. This will be given tomorrow. Will that be all?" She asked as she listed them down.

"Yes. That will be all." I replied.

"Here are your plane tickets." She handed me three plane tickets.

"Um... I changed my mind. Could I please have one more plane ticket?" I asked the lady.

"Sure." She typed in some words in her computer as she handed me one more plane ticket.

"Here." I gave her the money for the four plane tickets and to the renewal of our passports.

I placed the plane tickets inside my purse as I exited the agency. I have a big smile plastered upon my face.

"So Alexa, how'd it go?" Anika asked as she sat on the chair.

"I got us the plane tickets and we leave in two days." I replied as they immediately jumped up and down.

"We're gonna see mom!" They beamed as they immediately start packing.

"Well... better pack as well." I shrugged as I grabbed my trolley underneath my bed.
