A Love Worth Waiting For: Chapter 29- Gym Class
Kathy's POV
We are in our last class of the day. Luckily, we all have it us our last subject. Which is Physical Education. We are now in the school gym, which is surprisingly big.
Amy keeps on jumping as I know she is the most sporty one in our family. Thea looks worried and nervous about it. This subject is okay for her, though she always seems nervous yet she does it. In every class she is in she's not that attentive. For me, I am a combination of both. I am just like Amy, I love sports. Though I have Thea's habit on when she's nervous mostly about everything especially if it's a class.
My thoughts we're interrupted by a loud whistle.
"Listen up! Here in Gym class! I want to get to know every single one of you, through pain!" She smirked as she pulled out a Dodgeball.
"Last three people standing gets extra credit!"
I love dodgeball and so is Amy. Though, Thea is the best at it. She may not be sporty though her reaction time is best. Plus, she's scared of the ball. That's giving her a head up.
Suddenly a blue haired female approaches us. Thea just glared at her as she smirked at the both of us.
"Get ready Thea Rose, and Kathy Cones!" She smirked as she eyed Thea who just shrugged.
"How did she know me?" I asked myself
"Thea, who was that?" I asked facing her.
"Camille" she mumbled. I just shrugged as the whole class was divided into two groups. We are 32 in this whole class. Coach then placed 16 balls in the middle of the court.
"On my mark, ready...get set....GO!" She beamed as she blew her whistle. Amy ran fast towards it as she got one. I was targeting one but someone from the other team got it as I fell flat on my face. Ouch!
I got up immediately before someone could take a clear shot. I saw Amy dodging lots of dodgeballs in record time, as for Thea she's doing pretty well. A few people from our team lost, same with the others. They are now on the bench waiting for the final three.
I saw that Camille has threw a Dodgeball at me as I quickly Dodge it, though it caught me on time. Dangit! I went to the bench next to Joshua as I watch the scene in front of me happen.
I saw Thea walking to the bench as she sat next to me. One of her cheeks we're red.
"What happened to you?"
"This is why I don't like sports" she mumbled.
"A cheekshot" she replied before I could as her.
It was only Camille, Amy, Chloe, Nathan and Kyle left. Camille threw the ball directly at Chloe. Chloe was facing backwards. Just then, Nathan caught the ball right on time before it could reach Chloe.
"Thanks Nate"
"No problem" he smiled as he ran to the other court.
"Take this!" Amy shouted as she threw a dodgeball at Camille. Though she was fast and dodged the ball on time. As the Dodge ball went directly to the window thus breaking it.
"Whoops" Amy murmured as she went to grab another ball. Kyle throws a ball at Camille hitting her hip. She then proceeded to the bleachers. Only four players left.
"Sorry for this bestie" Chloe apologized as she threw a dodgeball at Kyle hitting him on his leg.
"Well played" he finally said as he went over to the bleachers.
Coach went to the front of the gym.
"Well played students! I saw a lot of potential in you!" She smiled.
"The last three students standing are, Amy, Chloe, and Nathan!" She announced.
"Due to the fact Amy Snow broke a window on the first day of school, she is now illuminated"
"What?!"
The coach just smiled at Amy as she pointed at the speaker. Static then could be heard.
"Ms. Snow, please report to the principal's office, now!"
Amy smiled as she headed to the principal's office. Maybe it's because she broke a window on the first day of school. Or even went to the principal's office on the first day of school.
Wow! She is a trouble maker.
~~dismissal time~~
We finally got out of Gym class as I headed to girl's locker room with Thea, Kira, Chloe, Addison and Camille(of course).
Chloe, Addison, Kira and I are in the bathroom stalls changing out of our sweaty, PE outfit. While Thea and Camille are left outside since Camille is already done changing, while Thea volunteered to stay back cause she's guarding our stuff. I suddenly hear a locker shouting harshly.
My curiosity got to me as I changed as fast as I can. I then see no sign of Thea or Camille anywhere. Camille probably left but Thea would never leave without someone accompanying her. I waited for Kira, Addison and Chloe to go out of the stalls.
~~a few minutes later~~
They all came out in their uniform. I stood up from the chair I was sitting on and approached them.
"Have you seen Thea anywhere?" I asked.
"Nope...." they all chorused.
As I was about to leave the girl's locker room, I heard the sound of metal tapping. It's coming from Thea's locker. I opened it and it revealed Thea.
"Thea! I was looking for you! What we're you doing in there?" I asked.
"Camille put me there" she explained as she got up and went out of her own locker.
"Why?"
"She thinks me and Adrian are a thing"
~~ in the principal's office~~
Amy's POV
I entered the Principal Leila's office. As I entered, I saw her in her chair scribbling letters on papers. Her emerald green eyes soon directed to me.
"Oh, Amy! What could I do for you dear?" She asked looking at me kindly.
"You called for me, Principal Leila" I replied as I closed the door gently and heading over to the chair in front of her.
"I was expecting Ms. Snow" she replied placing the papers back in the cabinet.
"Well, I am miss snow"
"I thought your last name will be either Cones or Rose, since they are your sister's last names" she sat down and faced me.
"That's just for my sisters...."
"Well, Amy Snow. Someone reported that you broke the window in Gym Class. In the first day of school. Is that true?" She asked.
I nodded my head. She just sighed.
"Ill let it slide for now, you are a newbie after all..." she smiled as she took out a folder with my name on it.
"Though it will go on you'd permanent record"
"I understand" I replied as I stood up.
"Thank you for your time, and I hope you won't be a trouble maker!" She laughed. I just chuckled and closed the door.
"I won't..."
As I faced in front I saw my sisters and the group waiting for me.
"I'm tired..." Addison stretched while yawning.
"Same here" Kira replied while doing the same.
"Why don't we head home and see what this year has in store for us!" Chloe suggested.
"Agreed" we all relied in union as we all headed home.
