A Love Worth Waiting For: Chapter 35- Cold Shoulder

Starting today. I will no longer switch POV's in the story. The only person talking in there will be Chloe. Just to make it clear. So I can make a few people have secrets. Well, without further a do. Lets begin.

"She can't find out!"

"She'll only feel more pain if you don't tell her!"

"We can't, we will ruin her day when she finds out!"

"Find out about what?" I asked as I stopped my tracks in front of the group who was currently huddled up in a circle with Kyle in the middle.

"Nothing" they all replied in harmony.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, we're sure. Now come on." Kyle just flashed a quick smile and then turned back to his serious face. He then dragged me going inside the school campus.

"We have to do it!"

"What if she finds out about-"

Was all I heard before we entered the noisy hallways. He let go of my hand as he started to speed walk away from me.

"Hey! Wait up!" I started running up to him. He didn't even bother to glance at me and instead started walking faster. I let out a sigh as I looked into his eyes. I couldn't quite read his expression, so I just focused my attention on my hands as we were walking.

"So where do you want to head onto?" I asked.

"Anywhere" he replied bluntly while looking at me. A wave of discomfort reached onto me as I gulped the lump in my throat. I shrugged it off and smiled.

"Lets go to my favorite place!" I smiled as I looked behind me to see Kyle trying to avoid my gaze.

What's his problem?

I reached out to grab his hand and start dragging him going onto my favorite place. It was the rooftop. After he showed me that in the first place. We often hang out there. Plus, it's the place where he almost kissed me.

An awkward silence was surrounding us. We we're in the rooftop for a couple of minutes now and no one even dared to mutter a word. He was in very deep thought. I couldn't quite understand his emotions through the look in his eyes.

After a couple of minutes I finally built up the courage to speak to him.

"Are you sure your alright?" I asked. I reached my hand to grab his own which is intertwined. He then retracted his hand and crossed his arms. I was alarmed and it caught me off guard. His sudden actions we're so different.

"I told you I'm fine."

I awkwardly pulled back my hands and inserted it in the pocket of my jacket. The bell rang as Kyle quickly took his backpack and hung it over his shoulders.

He then climbed down going to the other building as I watched him. All was left, but me and nature.

"What am I doing wrong?" I muttered as I grabbed my textbooks and backpack. I slowly climbed down the pipes as my feet reached the solid ground. Couldn't risk being late.

I entered my Science Class. Seeing Kyle on his proper seat. Laying down on his chair. Not bothering to make eye contact.

I approached him as I sat beside him. I am in my proper seat.

The teacher went inside the classroom. How do I describe her?
