A Love Worth Waiting For- Chapter 14: Do You Hate Me?!
Kyle's POV
"Chloe?!" I asked/ yelled aloud. While walking forward so Chloe can see me.
"Kyle?!" Chloe said while taking off her glasses. I couldn't take it! She tricked me! She was Caroline all along!
"Umm.... Kyle! Its not what you think!" She said while walking towards me. I moved backwards with a frustrated face.
"You tricked me!" I mumbled but aloud while looking at my shoes. I mumbled loud enough for Chloe to hear.
"No! I didn't I just...." she trailed off while rubbing her right arm.
"You just what?!" I asked with an angry look
"I.... I'm sorry" she stuttered while walking towards me.
"But why? Why did you lie to me?!"I asked tears threatening to fall
"I just.... you know....wanted to take revenge." She started
"You....you! Didn't even say you're going away for that long! That last summer! I....I hate you" she said through gritted teeth. While sighing
"You left me.... you didn't even say goodbye" she said while a few tears started running down her cheeks
"You think...... I wanted to stay outside this country! No! That's the reason why I came back here! To see you again! To say sorry! But I should have listened to my parents..... I thought you would be happy to see me! Turns out all you want to do is.....hurt me back!" I said while turning my back on her.
"I....I.... I'm sorry" she said again
"Too late" I said through gritted teeth. I glanced at her and walked away. Tears threatening to fall. I walked away with her tearing up. I do want to get to know her but she lied to me. So might as well leave her like that. I hopped on a bus and went home. So much for a new friend.
Chloe's POV
I'm so stupid! Why do I have to do that to Kyle?! Then again he left me. He didn't even say goodbye. By the thought of the memory when I was a kid. Tears fall. I wiped my tears away with the end of my sleeve and put on my glasses. I had a determined look on my face. I need a friend right about now. I texted Amy and hopped on a bus. I texted Carlos so he would know I won't be able to go to work today cause of.....ugh... an emotional problem. My phone beeped meaning I had a text. Amy told me to go to her house so she could 'real talk' with me. Whatever that meant. A few minutes had pass and I exited the bus. I carried my guitar as the wind blew through my hair. My eyes we're red from the drama earlier today. I went up the porch and knocked on the door.
"Coming" a voice boomed which I knew was Amy from behind the door. Amy opened the door letting me in. I saw Thea and Kathy reading some sort of book. I ran to the bed letting my guitar and my scarlet bag fall on the bed with me. I saw Amy and her sisters looked at me with a worried faces.
"What did you do this time?" Amy asked while placing her hands on her hips with a hint of sass in her voice
"Ugh.... I.... umm...." I started lost in words
"You what?" Kathy and Thea said in union while looking at me
"I.... you know.... told Kyle that I wanted to take revenge since he left me a few years ago.... Kyle saw me wearing this" I said while taking off the glasses I was wearing earlier.
"And I was playing the guitar.... so basically I was the Chloe he knows..." I explained
"A little apology won't hurt" Thea said while placing both of her hands on my shoulders letting her braid fall on my shoulder.
"Yeah..... text him now.... lower down you're pride..." Kathy said while sitting down next to me.
"Yeah sure... " I said simply as I took out my phone and placed it on text message. I gulped and I shakily typed the name of Kyle.
"I'm not sure if he still wants to talk to me" I said shakily as I looked at Kathy
"Come on.... just do it... you won't know unless you try" she encouraged. I focused my attention on my phone. I took deep breaths and typed this words 'Kyle... I'm really sorry about what happened. I hope you... still want to be friends...'I sigh and sent the message
"Done... I did it"I sigh as I place my phone beside me. He didn't reply though.
"Call him" Kathy simply said
"W-what?!" I blurted out
"Yeah call him" Thea said while reading a thick book
"Amy?" I asked looking at her to see what her opinion is
"Sorry Chloe I'm with my sisters" she said while playing video games. I sigh in defeat as I took put my phone and dialed Kyle's number. It rang but he didn't answer it. I tried a few times. After 4 calls he finally answered.

"Ugh.... Kyle?"
"What do you want Chloe? Haven't you hurt me enough?!"
"I just wanted to say.... I'm sorry about earlier today... hope you could still forgive me"
"You did hurt me and lied to me but I can't say no to my best friend in the world"
"So you're saying...."
"Yes! I forgive you but forgetting and trusting you is gonna be harder"
"So.... you're forgiving me..."
"Yes I am"
"Are you sure you're gonna forgive me that easy?"
"I am a forgiving person but I only want one favor for you to earn my trust again....."
"What is it...?"
"I want you to...."
