A Love Worth Waiting For- Chapter 13: Caught?!

Chloe's POV

I woke up, remembering nothing that happened last night. Then the memories started flooding in my mind again. Cafe, blushing, elevator. What confused me the most, was why am I in bed. Last time, I remembered I blacked out since I'm really claustrophobic. I noticed something different beside me. My eyes was still adjusting to the light of the sun and the light in my room. I noticed Kyle silently snoring while a magazine was on his chest. I giggled at what I saw. I got my phone from my bag, which is beside me. I switched it into camera and snapped a quick photo of Kyle.

I glanced at my alarm clock to check the time. I shot out of bed at what I saw. 8:00am. I woke up late. I'm late for work?! I tiptoed across my room hoping that Kyle wouldn't wake up. Gladly he didn't wake up.

I went inside the bathroom and locked the door. I got fresh clothes in my cabinet and headed inside the shower. I turned on the shower causing the hot water pouring down.

I went outside the shower to put on my uniform. I placed my uniform-dress on. Carefully pulling each string to form a ribbon at my back. I combed my golden hair so I could tie it to a high ponytail. I grabbed my purse and head outside the room. I noticed Kyle was still asleep so might as well not wake him up. I got a pen and paper and wrote:

I got out since I'm late for my job. So might as well, not wake you up. I'm leaving the key here so meet me in the bus stop in noon. Bye! ;-)

I smiled at what I wrote. I left the key beside the note and headed outside. I looked to my right and saw my dresser. I went near the mirror and noticed my glasses. I took out my eye contacts and wore it. I still looked the same. I looked like a nerd. That's why I stopped wearing them. I placed my glasses inside my bag and wore my contacts.

I grabbed my purse and my guitar. Can't blame me, I might need it. I walked out the door silently closing it.

Kyle's POV
~30 minutes later~

I woke up since the sun was shinning in my eyes. I checked the bed to see.... nobody there. Wait?! Nobody there?

I shot out of the bed er.... couch? I was roaming around the house when my eyes landed on something. It was a note. I read it, went outside the apartment. Carrying the key as I slowly walked outside.

Chloe's POV

"Waiter! Can I get a refill please?" A little girl asked

"Sure!" I beamed as I grabbed the container containing the juice. I poured it down the little girl's cup. She drank it like there's no tomorrow. She smiled in delight as I walked to the other tables. Until I bumped into Amy.

"Hey Amy!" I smiled

"Hey! Can we get a table?" She asked me while pointing at her sisters

"Sure!" I led them to a vacant table

"The usual please!" Amy said with a bright smile

"Coming right up!" I said with a wink as I placed the pencil on top of my right ear. I bumped onto someone. Again. Whats with me bumping into people today?

I looked above me to see my big bro.

"Hey there lil' sis!" He greeted as he lifted me up the ground, twirling me while I was giggling uncontrollably

"Hey there big bro. Long time no see!" I greeted back as I messed up his hair

"Hey! I just brushed that!" He gave me a pout.

"You know I hate it when you pout!" I pouted also

"Where can I sit?" He asked as he placed me gently on the ground

"There's no more tables left so... do you mind sitting with my friends?" I asked

"Sure why not?" I led him to the table where Amy and her sisters we're sitting

"Do you uh? Mind?" I asked as I pointed to my big bro.

"Sure!" Amy said giving me a thumbs up

My shift was done so I exited the cafe. I headed to the bus stop where Carlos and I met.

I walked towards the bus stop seeing Kyle nowhere. So I decided to wait for him in the park since it was just a few blocks away from the bust stop. I sat on one of the park benches. I decided to wear my glasses, like the old good times.

I took out my lenses and wore my old glasses. It felt different but it's a good difference. I untied my hair letting my long golden hair fall onto my shoulders. I took out my phone to see what I look like. I looked like the old Chloe. I didn't mind at all. I decided to tune the guitar as well. Later, I didn't know I was playing it already

Kyle's POV

After that note I went at home and changed to another pair of clothes.

I headed to the bus stop to see Caroline not there so I decided to take a stroll around the park nearby. I saw a girl with long yellow hair and she was wearing glasses playing the guitar. I listened to her and her voice seemed familiar. I hid behind the tree. Not in the creepy way like some stalker okay! Then I saw emerald eyes. No it can't be! Can it?

"Chloe?"
