I looked behind me to see a boy my age. He has unusual blue hair. Teal eyes that are hidden behind thick glasses. I felt a tear escape my eye.
I just looked back and started sobbing on my jacket. I felt two arms wrap around me. I removed my jacket from my face revealing my tear stained jacket. I looked over to the person hugging me to see it was the boy with blue hair. He let go as he looked at me.
"Sorry if I startled you. I just thought you needed a hug." He smiled. I miss people smiling like that. My tears continue to fall. I ran over to hug him as I spread my arms. I continue to sob on his shoulder.
He started rubbing circles around my back.
"Its alright. I'm here." His voice was calming. To be honest, it is working. We separated from the hug as I awkwardly looked at the boy.
He just smiled and looked at me.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Marco." He introduced.
"I'm C-"
"Caroline Alexa Tan? Yeah. I know." He smiled. I stared in awe.
"How'd you know?"
"Well, I'm in your Science class. Not to mention your seatmate."
"Your in my science class?"
"Well yeah, I'm not noticed that much." He replied.
"Well, I'm sorry to hear that." I lowered my head in embarrassment.
"Its fine." He simply said.
"Now, can you please tell me what happened?" He asked kneeling down as he started wiping my tears.
"Its nothing. That's all." I smiled. He picked up my glasses that was lying on the floor as he started to wipe it with his uniform and gave it to me.
"I know my limits Chloe. I understand if you still don't trust me."
"Thanks for understanding."
"How did you find me here?"
"This is my favorite place."
"But, I never see you hanging out here."
"Well, ever since you started hanging out here. I didn't really go here that often anymore"
"Sorry for driving you away."
"No, not at all." He sat beside me.
"How do you know about me?"
"Like I said, your in my class. Plus, my sister likes talking about you."
"Sister?"
"Yeah, I have a sister. She really admires you."
We then hear the bell ring. Echoing in the hallways. I grabbed my things as we both climb down.
"You sure your okay, I could drop you off the clinic you know?"
"Marco, I told you I'm fine." I reassured. Flashing a smile to calm him down. He just sighed as he looked down.
Marco and I both headed down the hallway of lockers. I suddenly see a glimpse of Kyle and Claire talking with each other. Kyle having the smile he used to smile when his with me while Claire. Well, she's enjoying his company. The scene in front of me made me stop and wonder.
Is he really my friend?
Did he just play me?
Was all the things he said real?
