A Love Worth Waiting For: Chapter 18: Kira's Birthday! Unlocked! Part 1

Chloe's POV

After that amazing night, we went our separate ways. Nathan gave me his number so we can talk. After we all exchanged numbers, we had our goodbyes. Turns out, Kyle and Nathan became close friends. I did my nightly routine and went straight to bed.

Kira's POV

I woke up 6:00 in the morning cause today is my big day! Its my birthday!
I checked my phone, my mom and dad called me but I missed it. Its okay, I'll just call them later on cause they're busy today. I planned the whole day. All I have to do is invite my friends. I texted each one of them and my phone got a ton of messages.

My message:

Hey guys! Good morning! Guess what,
Today's my birthday! So I humbly invite you to my birthday in the park later this afternoon. I'm counting on you

Their message:

Amy:

If there's food! I'm in!!!

Thea:

Sure, why not....got nothing else to do

Kathy:

Eh? Got free time! Anything for a friend

Chloe:

Sure! but can I invite 2 guests?

I said thanks to everyone except Chloe instead I agreed to her taking 2 people cause why not. The more the merrier!

I did my daily routine and fixed my stuff for the party. I got the picnic mat, some extra money just in case, and don't forget the picnic basket, cause what's picnic without the food...

I went outside my apartment and went straight to work.

Chloe's POV

I was happy that Kira agreed me taking 2 other people to the party. Those two other people we're the one and only Nathan and Kyle. I'm happy, I think Kira's gonna invite Mathew later at work but not sure....I took a bath and got dressed up for work. I got my purse and locked the door ready to go to work, but....why don't I get a birthday present for Kira....well it is her birthday, so why not!

I went inside a shop, and lots of stuff for presents were all there, but only one item caught my eye. It was a make your own scrapbook that you can personalize. Before I get this gift, better text Thea if ever Kira has an artistic side that I never know. I took out my phone and texted Thea.

My message:

Hi Thea! Sorry to bother you but....does Kira have an artistic side? Since my gift is kinda connected to that.

I closed my phone and placed it in my pouch. I eyed the gift and read the contents. After a few minutes later, my phone beeped. *beep* *beep* *beep*

I opened my pouch and read Thea's message

Thea's message:

Hi Chloe! Don't worry, you didn't bother me...just reading a book that's all. Also, Kira does have an artistic side. She drags me to her art class often. I kinda have to thank her for that since I learned how to draw. Hope that's enough info for you Chloe! See you at the party!

I smiled. I found the perfect gift for Kira! I bought it and went to work. I got used to this maid outfit! Its kinda kawaii!

"Hey Chloe! Drinks to table 3 and 9" Kira shouted from the counter. She handed me the drinks and I delivered them. I was so tired. I went outside to cool off a moment.

"Chloe! Over here!" I saw Matt.

"Hey Matt!" I smiled giving him a hug.

"Ugh Matt? Are you invited to the birthday of Kira?" I asked

"Yeah and I'm excited! I was suppose to go buy her a present before I saw you."

I smiled

"Well, I better be off then...see you later?" He asked

"Yeah see you later Matt!" I exclaimed while I entered the cafe. I straightened my apron and headed to the customer full cafe.

I changed into my regular clothes and headed to the park. No ones there so I decided to go to the trees and rest a bit.
