I couldn't sleep that night though. The breeze felt so cold and me sharing a blanket with Arisa wasn't enough. She seems to be cold as well. "Hey, you awake?" I whisper. Arisa peeked open her eyes. "Gosh it's cold." She whispers back. "Sorry, it's my fault. Well, it was actually that creatures fault but, sorry." I apologized. Arisa just smiles in return. "Wanna sneak out?" She asks. "Can we do that?" I raised a brow. "Why not? Besides, at this time, you can see the stars easier, and the fireflies will be out too." She says getting up with the blanket cuddled up around her.
I got up along with her, my hoodie kept me warm a bit so I wasn't that cold. We went outside and saw that everything was dark. The stars and fireflies kept it light though. "Ugh, I never got to eat those s'mores." I groan quietly. "That's cause you were huddled up in that cabin. And then ended up screaming." She laughs then we both ended up giggling.
"Wow, it's a clear night. It's really nice." I smiled after we calmed down. "Hey, when are you going to make up with Ayato-kun?" She asks as we sat down on a log. "Well, it's up to him really. That time back in the woods, I tried to explain to him but, he just left. Ignored me as if that moment never happened." I sighed sadly. "Well, you've known him for a long time, you two will surely make up soon." Arisa smiles encouragingly.
I gave out a big yawn. "I'm so hungry." Arisa giggles. "Girl, you ate a lot back at lunch." I frown. "That was lunch, I never ate dinner."
"That was your fault." She rolls her eyes. "You know what though? I think I'm gonna make up with him tomorrow." I decided. "No take backs?" She smiles. "No take backs." I replied smiling back. "Yeah, you better keep your words." She raises her brow. "Yeah, yeah." I sigh.

The next day, I was awakened by loud voices. I slowly start to open my eyes, groaning. Beside me was Arisa still sleeping. I nudge her to wake her up then she finally starts opening her eyes as she also groans. We were both half awake and half asleep when we got out of the tent as we let out a big yawn and stretched.
"Oh, you two sleepyheads are awake now? Come on you two, go wash your faces then come back." Yui-senpai tells us.
Slowly, we made our way to the water fountain and started brushing our teeth. "I'm still so cold after last night." I shiver. "And we slept in too." Arisa added. Splashing our faces with water, we start to finally reawaken. I let out another yawn when I'm suddenly splashed with water by someone else. I gasp and gagged. Coughing, water started coming out. Finally, I look up madly and saw that two girls were smiling evilly and I noticed that they were the girls that were with Ayato in the woods yesterday.
"Awake now?" They laugh. "Yah—"
"Nobody was talking to you dork." One of them shot an evil glance at Arisa and splashed her with water also when Arisa tried to stand up for me. I have Arisa a look to let me take care of this then turned back to the girls. "You know, Ayato told us that he's going to break up with you." One smirked. "He said that he didn't even know why he dated you in the first place." The other said and they started laughing again.
"Well I don't believe that." I told them face to face, with a steady gaze. "What?" They said looking disgusted at me. "If Ayato really said that, then I'll have to hear it from him myself. Besides, we've been together ever since we were young, he would never hate me over a little fight."
The girls gave me ugly expressions in return. One looked at the bowl of water she was holding then looked back at me. As quickly as possible, she starts aiming the water at me. I closed my eyes shut, waiting for the water to splash in me but all I heard was the bowl hitting the ground. She missed? I laughed to myself inside. But when I looked up, it wasn't because the girl missed, it was because someone was holding her hand back. They both look at Ayato stunned.
"I told you to not be rude didn't I? And stop spreading lies about me like that, she already knows for sure that I didn't said those words so there's no need for you to make them up. Scam!" He shouts and the girls ran away. I was surprised and stared at him stunned. He heard our conversation?
Ayato looked at me back and when he saw that I was fine, he start to walk away again but I quickly grab his sleeve, causing him to stop. "Wait! Just hear me out." I begged. "Uh, I'll be going now." Arisa says and shot me an encouraging glance then left. Ayato then turns back to me, waiting for what I had to say. He's gonna listen! I smiled. "Hurry it up." He demands which made me jump.
"O-oh, right. Look, I'm really sorry about that other day. I know I messed up big but seriously, I'm really, really sorry. And I'm saying this as not just your girlfriend but also as your best friend. It's been a bit more lonely when you're not there talking to me or making me smile, a-and I miss that. I really do. And gosh, you're always with those other girls—but that doesn't matter right now. Ayato-kun. I'm really sorry." I looked at him pleadingly.
There was a long pause but Ayato seems to start talking back. "Oh so you seeing me with those girls is making you jealous? How do you think I felt when I saw you being nice to those guys?" He asks and I realized that he wasn't only talking about Jun but about other guys who had approached me when finding out that I had a fight with Ayato. "S-sorry." I apologized again, regretfully.
He chuckles and pulls my head into his arms. "What am I going to do without you?" I could picture him smiling right now, so I smiled back. I guess this means we made up.
"Ah, Ayato-kun, we should get back." I said pulling away but instead, Ayato pushes me back into him again. "Just a little while longer." He whispers. I was surprised at first but smiled and hugged him back.
"Yah! Stop flirting and get back here! We're packing up!" Someone calls out, ruining our alone time. Ayato groans. "Geez, they just have to ruin this moment." He mumbles. "Hurry up! I know you two just made up but come on!" They repeatedly said. So Ayato finally relents and pulled away. But he grasp my hand, not wanting to let go as we walked back to the group.
