The day of the field trip came. We arrived at a place full of open spaces with woods and a lake around it. Sensei said that there was no service up in here either. I sigh and let out a big yawn, stretching my arms out after a long ride. Then breathed in the fresh outdoor smell.

"Feels like nature, ugh, no service." Arisa groans as she drags her bag out. "Girl you need to relax, you need this outdoor stuff." I told her and she rolls her eyes in response. I heard some familiar laugh and looked at where it came from, it was Ayato, Takuma and some other guys. When me and Ayato made eye contact, he quickly looked away and talked to his friends again, as if that moment never happened.

"Well, looks like your boyfriend won't hear you out either. If Ayato-kun's not wanting to hear you out, do you think I would want to hear out Takuma-kun?" She complains from my shoulders. A sigh escapes my mouth. "It's bad enough he's giving me attitudes, now you're giving me attitude?"

Arisa gives me a playful smile. "Relax, relax, we're still friends." Then her head turns to a different direction. "Looks like he doesn't mind being played now." She says. My face goes confused but when I turned to see what she was looking at, I knew what she meant. Ayato was surrounded by girls and this time, he's not even pushing them away.

My face scrunches up and I quickly grab my bag madly, going off to the opposite direction of them. "Hey, where you going?" Arisa calls from behind as she quickly picks up her bag and catches up to me. "Obviously settling into this creepy place. I betcha there's gonna be bugs, ugh I hate bugs." Pricks of scarceness flowed through me.

"Well, we are in the woods, so I don't see why not." Arisa shrugs. "There better be a real bathroom here though, not some portable ones." She starts complaining as I agreed.

Sensei then called out to everyone to this cabin place where we'll be staying. There was four, two for girls and two for the guys. After settling in, I laid in my bed exhaustingly. "You can't sleep now you idiot." Arisa says hitting her pillow on my head, waiting for me to get up.

"Ugh, I know, but it's been such a long day." I groan. I saw Arisa frown from the corner of my eye with her hands down at her hips. "Shay, it's only 10:00 in the morning. Lunch hasn't even started yet!" She yells then start hitting me with her pillow again. "Okay! Okay! I'm getting up!" I shouted, getting back up quickly so that she could stop hitting me. It didn't hurt but it just felt annoying.

"Shay? Tired? You're usually always looking forward to new stuff though." One of our classmates says when she finds me all tried up. "Yeah, and usually you would be with Ayato now." Yui-senpai says. Then all the girls gasp. "You guys got in a fight?!" One asks.

"No, no, no, no, no! He just misunderstood some things so—"

"You did got in a fight!" They squeal, cutting me off. "And what about you Arisa-chan? You'd be with Takuma as well." Yui-senpai points out, then the squeal goes louder. "Ooh, a fight also!" They go. Half of them took this chance to go flirting with the two guys. Me and Arisa sigh rolling our eyes.

When we went out, sure enough, crowds of girl were surrounding the two guys. "I heard you and Shay got in a fight. You can always come to me you know?" I caught a word from a girl. I stare at him sadly from where I was standing. "We're dead." Arisa mummers so that only I can here. "Yeah, this was all your fault." I nodded.

Arisa turns to me mad face. "Hello? How many times do I have to apologize?!" She shouts. "No need to raise your voice." I rolled my eyes. "Ugh, it was your fault too." She says. "Excuse me? My fault? What did I do? What did I do?" I challenged. "You obviously did something to make Ayato to go all mad at you." She replied.

"He saw wrong!" I said raising my voice. "It's still your fault for making him mad though." She goes. And just when I was going to burst out all mad up in her face, we paused and bursted out laughing. "What is wrong with us? If we got mad at each other and stopped talking to each other, we would've got no one to talk to on the trip." I laugh. "Even if we did, it would've been so formal." Arisa agrees.

Then we stopped and calmed down after some more seconds of laughing. "Well, we're not talking to them but at least we got each other." I said. "True, what would I do without you? Hey, how did we met? Or at least, got closer?" Arisa asks looking confused and thinking.

"It was something about food, I just know it." I chuckle. Then we gasp and turned to each other. "The ice cream." We both said together then ended up laughing again. "I wanted that last chocolate bar." I laughed. "We both did, in the end" she laughs. "It ended up on the ground." We both said at the same time.

"You dropped it." Arisa points out. "No, you dropped it." I disagreed. "Excuse me, you did." She protests. "No, you did." I shook my head. Then we kept on arguing back and forth.

"You know, our conversation is really stupid, fighting over the most stupidest thing." Arisa says. I nodded in agreement. "That's cause we're both dumb. But then again, you're dumber than me."

"Excuse me?" She says turning her head towards mine. That's when we knew that we were about to start arguing again so we paused and looked on ahead of us. "Look at them, still surrounded by those girls." Arisa sighed sadly.

I look at Arisa looking sadly at Takuma being surrounded by girls, she was feeling jealous. "You should go hear him out, in the meantime, I need to fix things myself."

She turns to me with a smile. "Let's do this." She finally agrees and I ended up smiling along with her.
