That Saturday, I was so excited for the date. Dressed up in this laced white, belly shirt with a maroon jean and yellow boots. *third outfit in picture up 🔝*
When my phone suddenly rang while putting on fixing my hair up. Taking it, the caller was Ayato. I gasp excitedly and quickly answered the call. "Hey, Ayato!" I beamed when I answered the call. "Hey Shay, I'm really, really sorry. But I've got a change of plans just at the last minute." He tells me with regret in his voice. My smile faded and I sat on my bed. Wha...?
"The boys and girls basketball team have to go out of the city for an educational purpose. Coach said that one of the superstar basketball player is going to talk to us so he doesn't want us to miss out, and I gotta say, I don't either. Opportunities like this is once in a lifetime. I'm really, seriously sorry about this Shay." Ayato explains.
"Ayato-kun, it's okay. Basketball is really important to you and you're getting closer to your dream. I wouldn't want to be the burden for you. So it's fine with me. Besides, we can go on dates anytime unlike meeting celebrities." I smile. "Sorry again. Hey, I can give this ticket to Arisa, so you can still go." He suggests. I shook my head. "No, give it to Takuma-kun and I'll give mine to her. I think they'll both enjoy this." I tell him.
Ayato gasp. "Good idea, well, I'll see you tomorrow or something, we're sleeping over there. Thanks for understanding. Bye." He says and I can picture him smiling right now. After saying my goodbye, we hung up and I sigh, slumping onto my bed. That means, Harumi will be there too. Although I wanted to feel happy for Ayato-kun, not all of my supports were coming out as I think of the two of them hanging out. I know I shouldn't let my jealousy get in the way and trust him just as Haru told me but, it's so hard.
I then decided to go to Arisa's house. She happily accepted it but knew something was wrong when she saw me placed a fake smile. So she pushed me to tell her what was going on and I did. She told me I gotta believe in him and not to judge him. That's what I was telling myself too, but it's not like you can control your jealousy every time.
I sigh and slumped down against my knees by the sidewalk, coming back from Arisa's house. Ugh, stop it Shay! I yell inside, getting mad at myself for letting my jealousy go out like this instead of just supporting him like a girlfriend is supposed to do.
"Yo, you alive?" Someone calls as they poke my body with their foot. Quickly, I got up and saw that it was Takeshi and my eyes widened. "Takeshi! W-what are you doing here?" I ask. "More importantly, what about you? Anyone could've just knock you over you know." He sighs. 😪
"It's none of you business." I said not wanting to tell him my reason or else he'll think I'm just desperate. "Whatever." He rolls his eyes. Then took a good look at me, his eyes going up and down. "Date with Ayato?" He guesses. I quickly shook my head. "Got cancelled."
"Oh, so that's why you were on the ground." 😑
"N-no it's not!" I try protested but it looks as if he already saw through me. "Your expressions tells me everything." He raises a brow. "You look like you'll become a great fortune teller rather than a basketball player." I jokingly said as I rolled my eyes. "But then again, you don't care about people's lives." I added. "You're right I don't. Whatever." He says and walks away. He didn't even said bye, just a 'whatever'.
"Do I look like someone to say bye?" He asks without looking back. I blink multiple times. He really is a fortune teller already. I snicker.
For today, I decided to take the long way home, just for some exercise. While walking along, I stop and leaned towards the bridge I was walking along. Then all of a sudden someone approaches me. "Waiting for a date?" The guy asks me smirking. I hesitated. "I-I—"
"Don't worry, I can be your date." He smiles with a wicked grin. "P-please, I don't want this." I begged, trying my best to pull my arm away from him but his grip was too strong. "Come on, don't be like that." The guy says, pulling me somewhere. I struggle to stay put but he just all of a sudden places me on his shoulder, running off. I scream. "H-help! Someone!" I yell but it doesn't look like anyone is out here. My cheeks turns wet from my tears. "Help!" I scream louder, but it was no use, when I'm suddenly pushed into a vehicle and the vehicle runs off.
Yamato's POV
Me and the guys heard a sudden scream from the other side of the bridge. "H-help! Someone!" It calls. "That sounds familiar." I mumble to the guys. They look alarm. "Help!" It screams again the I gasp. "That definitely sounds familiar. It's Shay!" I shout and started running to my motorbike, followed by the guys. We quickly got on and started the motorbikes and followed the black vehicle in which Shay was pushed into.
It took about 10 minutes when the vehicle suddenly pulls over. I signaled the others to stop and hide, so that those guys wouldn't know that we were following. It was at a dark alley. Shay was pulled out and carried off. She seems to be struggling as we see her tied up from arm to feet and her mouth was also covered.
Shay's POV
The guy that was carrying me threw me into a garage warehouse. I struggle and whimper back until my back touched the wall. Please! Someone please! I begged with a scared expression. "Oh, she's scared isn't she?" One guys says. I could see his mouth curling into a smirk in the dark. "Don't worry, we won't harm you." He says when he sees my scared expression. "You should've just agreed to be my date from the start." The guy who had took me away from the bridge tells me. "But too bad we gotta do this the hard way." He chuckles. Then threw down a somewhat looking like some stripper clothing. "Where that and entertain us." He orders.
My eyes widened. They expect me to do what?! Quickly looking up at them, I gave them the expression of a no. Their faces grew angry when all of a sudden, the doors to the opening opens and comes four guys. "There's no way in hell she would do that." One says. Wait a second, Yamato?! I gasp, noticing that voice. "Mm!" I shout, he sees me and smiles then turns his dark expression to the enemies here. Those bad guys cracked their knuckles, telling Yamato and his friends that they were about to fight. So Yamato and his friends smiles, walking forward. "Let's do this." I hear him mumble under his breath. Then they started fighting, hard. Most of the time I shut my eyes, not wanting to see it. But I could hear the voices of pain as I whimper scaredly.
When the voices finally stopped, all I heard left was pants. Peeking my eyes open, I saw Yamato coming towards me and untying me. "Not hurt? You good?" He asks me. I quickly shook my head and his expression softens and he takes away the cloth that was covering my mouth. "Thank you!" I cry with joy, knowing that I'm safe again with tears streaming down my cheeks. Yamato chuckles and wipes my tears.
"Where's your boyfriend?" He asks with a curious expression. I gasp. "P-please! Don't tell him, nor Arisa or Takuma! Please! I beg of you." I pleaded. Yamato gave me a confused expression. "I don't want them to have to worry about me every time, I've done enough." I explained looking down on the ground. He was quiet at first. "You heard her." He says, I look up and saw that he told the guys to keep this a secret. "Thank you Yamato, all of you, thank you so much. Heh, guess I was wrong about you, you're actually kind." I chuckle a bit with tears falling again.
Yamato sees and smiles. Then stands back up with a pat on my head. "Come on, let's get outta here." He says lending me a hand. I took it and we left this place.
