Once I got to the room and everyone else was there, we started introducing ourselves. That Takeshi guy is also here, and this time he's my assistant prez since my last one moved to another school. "Hey." I heard a voice call as I'm tapped by papers. Looking up, I find Takeshi right in front of me. "Something up?" I ask. "Don't you remember who I am?" He asks. I tilted my head, wondering about what he was talking about, then it hits me. I gasp. "Takeshi-kun! It's you?!" I ask, remembering me and Ayato's old friend from middle school. He rolls his eyes. "Wow, you actually forgot about me. Anyways, I see you've changed."

"How?"

"You're smiling, that was so unlike you back then." He answers as he takes a sit next to me to help out with some papers. "O-oh. I guess things happened." I shrugged. "Like Ayato?" He says. I blink, looking at him with surprised widen eyes. "Stupid, I overheard your conversation." He answers as if he had read my mind. So he knows we're dating. "It's not like I care though." He says turning his focus back into his work. "You haven't changed. You're still so rude." I tell him. All he did in response was shrugged. I roll my eyes and sigh, going back to work.

I stayed a little later than the rest of the council members, having to fill out many other papers since it was the beginning of the school year. When I was finally done, I grab my bag and start heading out. "Ayato probably left already anyways." I mumbled under my breath.

Not expecting to see anything surprising, I suddenly stop in track when I saw Ayato walking with Harumi just about 20 feet from me. What...? I gasp. Then I slapped my face. "Trust him girl, trust him." Looking back at the two, they seem to be laughing. "Ah, I can't do this." I struggle as I went and hid. What are they doing? Walking alone? Ugh! After stressing myself with so many negative stuff, I finally decided to walk away and turn the other way around to head for Mrs. Ai's pastry store.

Just some moments later, I'm suddenly stopped by his voice. "Shay!" He calls. I pause and froze. Oh, no. Did he caught me? Tell me he didn't caught me. Just act normal Shay, act normal. Taking a deep breath, I swirl myself around and saw that Ayato is now just some feet before me. He comes up and started to walk with me. "Don't you have practice?" I ask. "It's over, just took Harumi home. Oh, can't believe she actually came back, did you saw her?" He asks excitedly. Although I felt a bit jealous inside, I decided to keep it there. "Well duh, she's in my class."

"Oh, right. She told me that. And she's still in the girl's basketball team too." He tells me. "Y-you know, Takeshi is also here." I said deciding to change the subject so that I don't get any more jealous. His eyes widen as he turned to me. "Také Takeshi?" I nodded. "Wow, that kid didn't even say hi to me. So rude." He complains. I sigh. "Still himself. He's actually my assistant student prez now."

"What? You're still prez?"

"The teachers voted on it. Oh but he's kinda changed. Last time he never cared about school work but now I'm surprised he became assistant prez. I sit right in front of him, he said he's hoping to become a pro basketball player too. It's cool, last time I saw him played, he was awesome. But I guess he's got his own team since he doesn't seem to be in yours. But Takeshi-kun, he noticed me right away. I almost forgot who he was." I was talking nonstop about Takeshi when Ayato suddenly changes the subject.

"We got our basketball uniforms." He says and held out the uniform. "Number 7! Your lucky number!" He smiles. I look at him surprised and felt touch. "You remembered?" I asked. He nods. "Duh, how could I forget?" He says with a pat on my head then stops in track. "Now that I think about it, isn't your house the other way?"

"O-oh." I paused, remembering why I took this way. "I-I was planning on going to the pastry store but it's okay, let's go home now." I said trying to sound happy when I grab him by the arm and started walking back.

"By the way..." Ayato starts. "If you're worried about me and Harumi, then I get it. You don't need to hide it."

"Huh?" Did Ayato noticed? "I knew cause when you were talking about Takeshi and all, guess I kinda felt jealous, that's why I suddenly changed the subject. Besides, what kind of girlfriend wouldn't get jealous?" He smiles and took my hand in his, giving it a squeeze and kept walking. I gave a squeeze back and we both smile.

Once we got to my house, we pause and look back at each other. "Well, see ya." I tell him then started running off. "Shay!" He calls. I quickly stop and looked back. Ayato gestured for me to walk back to him so I did. In his hand was two tickets as he handed me one. "What's this?" I asked holding out the ticket. It looks like it's a ticket to an amusement park. "Obviously, I'm asking you to a date. You free Saturday?" He asks. I beamed into a smile. "Of course! I can't wait!"

Ayato scoffs. "Thought you'd say that. Well, see ya." He says as he pats my head then started walking away. "Ayato-kun!" I called to him and he stops, looking back at me. "Thank you." I smile. "Hey, don't change plans, or else I'll never forgive you." He tells me.

"Heh, I'd never. You too okay?" I said holding out a pinkie. Ayato scoffs but tangles his pinkie around mine. Unexpectedly, just as I thought he would pull away, instead Ayato pulls my pinkie closer, making me closer to him as well, into an embrace and kisses my forehead, making me blush.

Just a little while longer Ayato-kun, thank you...
