It's been some days after the breakup between me and Ayato-kun, and I guess I'm starting to get over that—just kidding, I'm still dying over that. Ugh, and we haven't talked at all either. Tsubaki and Takeshi are doing fine though, they're actually dating! 😆 I'm so happy for her, me and Arisa both are, after all, it is her first boyfriend.

     No one knows that we're having part time jobs right now, if they did, well, let's just say they might think we're...cheap. And today, there's like a pool party celebration for this family and we all had to stay overtime since this family was a rich family.

"I hope Grandpa will be alright." I sigh tiredly. "I'm sure he'll be fine." Arisa assures me. "But, ugh, I feel so bad. I'm practically living with you, and you guys have to treat me to food and all—"

"It's okay, it's okay. My family treats you like family anyways."

"But still..." That's right, I kinda moved in with Arisa's family since I couldn't sleep home alone, you know me, scared of the dark and all. "Yo, yo, yo!" Tsubaki quickly runs up to us. We look at her surprised. "Guests just arrived and guess who's with them! Harumi!" She exclaims softly. "What?" Me and Arisa ask in unison, then we quickly took a peek at the guests arriving. Sure enough, Haurmi was amongst them. "She's a rich kid." Arisa whispers just as surprised as me and Tsubaki was.

"Shay!" Boss calls my name. I instantly went to her. "Bring these food to room 127 okay dear?" She asks me. I quickly nodded and took the food of tray to go to the room. That room is the highest room in this hotel, usually for some rich person, probably a guest part of the party then.

I finally got up to the highest floor and knocked on room 127. Somehow, a somewhat familiar voice answers it. "Come in." It says. Opening the door, I find...

Arisa's POV

We were suddenly summoned by Boss to go hand some food to...*gulp* ... Harumi. Taking a deep breath, me and Tsubaki trade an unsteady glance then went over to Harumi, trying to hide out faces by looking down. But that didn't helped, cause she called out our names anyways. "Arisa-chan? Tsubaki-chan?" Her voice went. We instantly jumped, and slowly, swirled ourselves around. "You guys are..."

Shay's POV

"Ayato-kun...? W-what are you doing here?" I instantly ask him. He eyes me up and down, seeing that I'm a maid working here. "I should be asking you that." He turns the question back to me.

"It...it's none of your business."

"You're a maid."

"I...I know..." I bite my lips hard, unsure of what to say. "I...I need to go back to work." I quickly tell him after setting the tray down, wanting to escape all of this.

Arisa's POV

"Ayato's here too?" Tsubaki asks stunned just as me when Harumi told us that. Then she quickly grabbed our hands and led us into a bathroom, and locked the door behind her. We look at her confused and surprised to why she just did that. Harumi was silent at first, but spoke out anyways. "I think...you two need to know the real reason to why Ayato broke up with Shay."

Shay's POV

And just as I'm about to open the door, Ayato quickly comes behind me and slams it back closed. "Ayato...what are you doing?" I ask him. He takes my arm and turned me around to look back at him. His faced somewhat showed...pain. "Ayato, you do know that we're already over right?" I ask him. He didn't answer, looks as if he didn't wanted to hear that as he looks away.

     Then turns his gaze on mine again. "I think...you need to know the real reason to why I decided to break up with you."

Looking at him surprised, I go confused. "Ayato...?" I call as he releases my hand and walked over to the bed to take and seat. He looks back at me, gesturing me to come over, and so I did.

     Ayato has another reason, no, Ayato has a better reason to why we broke up. I was starting to feel scared when he sounded so serious. Seeing that, he reaches out a hand for me. I take the hand he offered and he brings me to sit next to him.

     "Well...I never broke up with you because I was tired of you, I'll never get tired of you. And I'm sorry, I heard you crying, and you had to put up this font to show that you were strong enough. Every girl who had approached me from that day, they all said horrible things about you." A sigh escapes his lips as he takes a deep breath to start explaining things. "My father." He starts. My head tilted to a side. "Your father...?" I ask. Ayato never knew his father though.

     "Just three months ago, he came to my house and told me everything about himself, how he's some rich person, one of the richest person in Japan, but...he wants more power. So he wants me to take over CEO when school ends and...I'm to get married."

     I gasp in horror. "Wha...?"

     "To Harumi...her parents are another group of the richest family also. Of course, I rejected it. But that wasn't enough, I told him I was already with someone else, he told me to break up with the girl. I told him he couldn't just control my life like this, he told me that if I didn't agreed to this...then he'd have no other choice but to ruin your family. I couldn't let that happen, I'm sorry..."

     "Ayato..." I place my hand on his, to make him understand that it was fine because he did it to protect me. "And...what about your basketball? If he wants you to be CEO, that would mean you have to quit basketball wouldn't it...?"

     Ayato covers his face with his hands, showing that he was frustrated.

     "Ayato..." He looked so hurt, as if his whole world was falling down. Looking at him sadly, I didn't know what to do. And just as I'm feeling useless, Ayato suddenly brings me into an embrace. "A...Ayato..."

     "I promise to fix all of this, you don't need to do anything, just...believe in me." He tells me. I gave him a nod. "Of course...I believe in you..."

     Ayato then pulls away without taking his hands off my shoulders. "Now tell me, why the heck are you a maid?"

Arisa's POV

     "What?!" Me and Tsubaki gasp after hearing the story. Harumi quickly shakes her head. "Of course, I never want this, I never ever planned on being with Ayato-kun, he's too much in love with Shay. Please, believe me."

     Me and Tsubaki quickly placed our hands on hers. "We believe in you Harumi." Tsubaki assures her and I nod in agreement. "Thank you..." Then her face turned confident. "Ayato-kun tells me he has a plan, I don't know it yet, but he told me to trust in him. You guys must too."

     We nod.

     "Good."

     After all the conversation with Harumi, we went out, and the first thing we saw was Shay and instantly ran up to her. "Shay, you'll never believe what had just happened." I exclaim quietly. She nods. "I know, Ayato told me." She whispers back. Me and Tsubaki look at her surprised. "Ayato told you...?" Tsubaki asks. Shay nods again. "No one is to know about this, the only other ones who knows are Takuma and senpai...for now...we need to trust Ayato-kun, I need to trust him." Shay gave out a confident look.

     And we smile in return.
