JADEN'S POV

"Fuck, that girl is a meanie." Jordan said

"I like her she's very different from what you find out there." I shrugged "I hope she knows how to this a good punch too."

"Did you bring the cake papers?" Jordan asked.

I quickly checked in my bag only to face palm myself. "They aren't here."

"Where the fuck are they?!"

"Back at HQ."

"Why?!"

"I wanted to go over everything."

"Why would you do that?!"

" 'Cause I can."

"Look where that gets us now." He threw his hands up in exasperation

"It's ok, I remember what we need to bake. It's only a simple rainbow cake." I reassured

"Let's just get our stuff and get in before I kill you." We took our bags and got back to the front door to find them still talking. Honestly is it my fault if I go over things to make sure that there perfect, yes, yes it is.

"What?" She asked one of the other two.

"What about we sleepover, then we still try to get to know each other better. Not in that way of course." Alex suggested

"Why do you guys want to be my friends so badly?" She threw my hands up in the air just like Jordan a few minutes ago.

"Because you're different from others." I piped up

"Yeah, and I'm guessing that you haven't had friends in a while. Don't you want you're last year to finish with a bang by being with us?" Jordan spoke

"And by bang, do you mean drama and attention?" She asked

"We don't know. It all depends how this whole thing happens." Dylan shrugged

"You guys still know that any other girl from the school would be jumping up to this offer right? And you're still trying this with me. The other girl could be prettier, smarter and more perfect than me, but you're still here." She shook her head.

"Why are you comparing yourself with other people? We want to know you, not them, you." Alex huffed.

"OK, so say for example that I agreed to this plan, would you mind if it involved some T's and C's?" She questioned

"Finally we're getting somewhere." Jordan muttered.

"What if I don't want to be seen with you at school? What happens if I don't want the attention? What if-" She rambled.

"-nothing happens and life carries on perfectly? What happens if we all become good friends in the end?" I intercepted

"I don't know." She sighed. "Maybe we could I mean, but we can't, but -"

"But nothing. Is it a crime to just be friends?" Alex asked exasperatedly

"OK, whatever, let's try this..." She gave in.

"Hallelujah!" Dylan exclaimed.

"Get your stuff and just get in." She allowed. Being the two fools they are , they ran off to the garage and she let us in. The house is actually bigger than it looks from the outside. The interior also has a nice vibe with all the different colours.
