You woke up and felt that you are not home. You opened your eyes and saw Jesse sleeping,leaning over your bed and holding your hand. You felt his warm breath on your hand. You looked around and saw that you was in hospital ward and your body was connected to millions of treatment tools. You tried to remember what happened but felt throbbing headache. You looked down and saw that you broke your leg, there was cast on it. You sighed.

Jesse slowly opened his eyes and breathed in. You looked at him and saw how tired and sleepy he was. Jesse rubbed his eyes with his free hand, still holding your hand with another one. He looked at you and his eyes widened.

" Y/N, oh my god. You woke up" You noticed big gray bags under his eyes like he hadn't slept several nights. You tried to stood up a little, but felt pain in your chest and gasped.

" Shhhh, don't move, love, you'll hurt yourself again. I don't want that" Jesse said putting your hand over his cheek. You felt his warm skin and his bristle tickled you " You were unconcious for three days. Worst three days in my life, I must confess"

" W-what happened to me?" you finally spoke

" Don't you remember?" he asked,frowning.

" I'm sorry, I really don't..." you looked at him. He nervously tried to hide his eyes " Jesse, what happened?"

" It was a car accident. We were driving home and... drunk driver hit our car from your side" his voice was soft and sad.

" Oh, my stars" you asked,looking at him " Are you okay?"

" What?! Y/N..." he closed his eyes and made a deep breath, then he looked at you again. Your hand was still on his face. He whispered agrily, looking at you " How can you ask that, if it was you who was unconsious for three days and nights?"

" That is why I'm asking you" you whispered, looking him straight in the eyes.

You cared about him more than about yourself and he cared about you more about himself. It was stupid and cute at the same time. But you knew that whatever is going to happen with you, you can count on him, and you were ready to help him any second he needed, because he counted on you too. Your love was built on friendship and care and it made you a great, supportive partners. As a result, you were a happy couple.

Jesse closed his eyes and bit his lip. You started stroking his cheek. You felt guilty.

" You are right, I'm sorry" he whispered and opened his eyes "... I'm fine....just scared to lose you. I worry about you"

" You are not going to lose me" you smiled,continuing stroking Jesse's cheek.

" Promise me" he said. Jesse behaved like a child, but you understood why.

" I promise, you are not going to lose me" Jesse took you hand in his and kissed it. He looked so tired, it was killing you.

" I need to tell doctors that you woke up..." he said "...but I don't want to leave you"

" I'm afraid, you have to" you said smiling " Jesse?"

" Yes, love, what is it?" he looked at you worried.

" Come closer, please" you asked and he stood up, leaning over you " I need you to do something for me.."

" Yes, sure, Y/N" Jesse whispered leaning closer to your face. You smiled,when he glanced at your lips. He was ready to kiss you.

Suddenly you placed your finger over his lips.

" Bring me some food" you whispered looking him in the eyes and smiling. Jesse laughed and you felt his breath on your neck "...because I'm hungry as hell"

" Okay" he brushed your hair over your ear and you took your finger away from his lips.

Jesse leaned closer and kissed you. It wasn't like he usually kissed you . It was more gentle; slow, as if he was afraid to hurt you by any wrong or abrupt move. Jesse gently placed his hand on your neck and started gently stroking your jawline with his thumb. You slightly pulled him away and Jesse pressed his forehead against yours.

" I love you" you said.

" I love you more" he said

" Nope" you teased him, giving him Eskimo kisses. He smiled. You tried very hard to hide that you felt pain in chest. You were making him smile, which was making you feel better.

" Don't leave me, okay?" he whispered " I'm terrified even to imagine myself without you now.."

" There is no way that I will leave you,Jesse" you laughed, Jesse was still pressing his head to yours "...because I'm planning to annoy you just a little bit more"
