You came back home very late. When you entered your apartments you heard that Jesse was cooking a dinner. You took off your jacket and brushed your hair,looking in the mirror, before going to the kitchen. Mouth watering smell of the food caused rambling in your stomach. Jesse always cooks delicious meals. You stopped leaning on the doorframe and started watching Jesse, because you never seen him cooking alone before. You were surprised to see him dancing, while listening music . Then he started to improvise playing on drums, using spoons. Jesse actually can play drums. Your smile became even wider.

"Your baby needs sooomeone to beliiieve in
And a whole lot of space to breeeathe in" he mumbled to himself and you laughed.

Suddenly he turned to you, with spoons in hands and his eyes widened. You bit your lip in order not to laught, but just smile.

"How long you've been there?" he asked a bit confused, pulling off his headphones. You smiled and turned closer.

" Longer than you would like" you said and placed your hands on Jesse's shoulders. He looked a bit terrified and bit his lip.

" Okay"

" Are you going to look that terrified now ?"

You smiled,looking him in the eyes. Jesse smiled too and leaned to kiss you. He put his hands around your waist and your hand ran through his hair. Jesse kissed you passionately, pressing you closer to his body. You pulled him away slowly to breath in. Jesse smiled.

" What is the reason for this delicious dinner?" You smiled, looking at him.

"Well... there is actually the reason. One small,well not actually small,but cute reason" he chuckled, gently poking your nose.

" What is it?" you asked

" You'll see later" Jesse smiled.

" Okay then. I'm going to take a shower..."

" And by the time you back - everything will be ready"

" Love you" you said and he kissed your forehead. When you felt his warm lips on your skin, you closed your eyes.

" I love you more" Jesse said.

Dinner was delicious as usual. You totally forgot about Jesse's reason for that delicious dinner, but he reminded you, when you both were cleaning the table. You closed the doors of dishwasher and looked at Jesse.

" It was so tasty" you said and he came closer.

" Of course, it was" he said and you laughed a bit "Well, now, I think, you are ready for my...present...hm, is that right word? "

" Present?" you frowned a bit. You didn't like the idea of Jesse spending money on you. Jesse himself found it weird.

" No, that's probably wrong word" he said.

" What is it?" you asked and he shrugged.

" Hmm" he said smiling "Lets find out... but I need your eyes to be closed. You need to promise not to open them until I ask you to do it. I don't want my surprise be spoiled"

" Oookay. I promise" you smiled too and closed your eyes " Lets find out"

Jesse stood behind you and placed his hands around your waist, pressing you to his body. You felt his breath on your neck. You smiled. Then, you felt that he directs your legs, slightly pushing it with his feet. You made a step and he followed you.

" Yeah, right" he whispered.

" This is actually very cute" you laughed and made another step " I just hope that we are not going to fall somewhere"

" No-no, I got you" Jesse said.

He took you to the bedroom avoidind all "dangerous areas" as door corners and corners of the furniture. You always hit your little toes against it. And it hurts. Jesse put you on the bed and sat opposite to you.

" Can I...?"

" No, no, wait. You'll understand when..." he interrupted you and took your hand.

Jesse put your hand on the pillow with something furry on it. You felt long whiskers touching your fingertips, as if something is sniffing your hand. You raised your eyebrows and that furry thing started licking your nails. Jesse laughed and you opened your eyes. You turned your head to look at the pillow and saw a cat lying there. You gasped when you saw it. It was big, furry cat with long white whiskers. You told Jesse once that you always wanted a cat, not a kitten, but grown up cat with big whiskers and long brown furr. But you didn't expect him to bring you a cat. You started petting your new friend with smile on your face.

"Oh, you don't like him..." Jesse said, panicking "Oh..."

"What? No-no,..." you took Jesse's hand and looked at him "... I like him. I'm just...surprised...that you remembered. I didn't expect you to remember that silly little thing..."

" Your little silly things are not little and silly for me" Jesse whispered, looking at you.

" Oh, I love you" you turned to Jesse and kissed him in the lips. You were ready to lean away, but he kissed you back. You smiled and looked at the cat. "He is so lovely, he looks excatly as I described him to you"

" I'm glad that I imagined him right" he said "When I first saw him, I understood that it was your cat"

" How we are going to name him?" You asked, ad Jesse cocked his head on the side, watching at your new furry friend.

" Have no idea, and you?" he asked.

" That's weird name" you said biting your lower lip. Jesse looked at you " Gideon"

" Gideon?" Jesse smiled.

"Yeah,told you, weird name for a cat" you smiled.

" Gideon Eisenberg" Jesse said and you laughed a bit " It sounds very aristocratic and bookish. I like it"

" And we name you,cat, as Gideon Eisenberg" you laughed, and performed small ceremony of knighting with your index finger. Cat lowered his ears and sniffed your finger,tickling you with his whiskers.

" A protector of the Queen of this house, while the King is away" Jesse added and you smiled.
