CHAPTER 6
George's POV:"Now you two behave yourselves this year, I mean it. No more puking pastilles or fake wands. Study, behave and watch after your siblings. I don't want a single owl about you two this year, understand? And please be safe dears."
"Yes mum. We will be mum." (F&G)
"I mean it George, Fred. Now give me a kiss and get on board before the train leaves."
"Bye mum." (F&G)
I don't think we've ever seem mum or dad on edge as much as we have these past few days. They were happy we were leaving for Hogwarts because they trust Dumbledore and how safe it is. But honestly they were starting to drive us mad. Every time we tried to go outside and play Quidditch mum would panic if we weren't back in half an hour. We hardly saw dad much, because he was getting called into the office to help with the extra work. Then this morning he had to go help someone out of a bit of trouble for doing magic in front of muggles.
Percy was just as insufferable as ever, acting as if he knew more about what the ministry was doing about the Dark Mark that appeared at the World Cup than he really did. Plus the whole Mr. Crouch said this or Mr. Crouch said that was driving us mad. Fred and I had resorted to setting dungbombs off in whatever room he was in, just to get rid of the stupid git.
Thank goodness we're finally on the train now. Fred and I find a compartment and Lee, Alicia, and Angelina soon join us as we head back to school. Fred and I show them our list of products and even show them a few puking pastilles we had managed to smuggle past mum. The rest of our prank candy will have to wait until we have a chance to remake them all. We talk about the World Cup some, the match, and then the Dark Mark before Fred tells them about Krum and his girlfriend.
I find myself thinking about her again as it starts getting dark outside. Fred is describing her but he isn't doing her justice enough. She wasn't just pretty, she was bloody beautiful. I watch as Angelina frowns a bit when Fred calls her pretty. Stupid git doesn't even realize she likes him. I shake my head a little as I realize this and find myself smiling at Lee who must have noticed the same thing and has started grinning.
The train starts to slow down and stop and we quickly change into our robes before piling off the train. Lee, Angelina, and Alicia get into one of the carriages and Fred and I head to an empty one at the back just as it starts to rain. We start discussing nosebleed nuggarts as a possible seller just as it started raining. As we climb into the carriage and sit down we realize it wasn't empty. There was a girl sitting in the carriage facing the lake. She turns towards us and suddenly smiles, while I can only smile back stupidly as I realize I've seen her before. Her and those beautiful eyes of hers.
It's the girl from the World Cup. Fred smirks some as he nudges my shoulder trying to get me to say hello first, but I can't. The girl blushes some and I watch as her freckles on her face still show up even against the blush, then she introduces herself. Her accent is, well bloody hell, it's sexy. Can an accent be sexy? Hers most definitely is. I think this is going to be an interesting year.
K POV:
I have never been happier that I'm headed to school today. My family stayed an extra two days after the incident at the World Cup. I wasn't sure how serious it was, but apparently it was very serious. My father was not pleased. He sent me to London to avoid a fight going on at home and it seems as if I've landed in the birth of one. My father and uncles made sure that I would be safe and met with several Ministry employees before I begged them to go home and simply trust me that I would be safe. They agreed, but rather reluctantly.
